I’m an expediter too. I recently got my van washed at a Beacon Truck wash. They asked me if I wanted the Rainex treatment. I got it and the best thing is how easy the bugs come off my windshield with just the van’s window washer! It’s great! I highly recommend the Rainex service.

I never use Rainex. Rain beading up on my windshield is cool, but doesn't improve visibility. Rainex type products are a thin film, which ISN'T totally transparent. Again. Not transparent. Another visual layer on the windshield to see through. All I see is a waxy film.
It's definitely costly, but FREQUENT replacement with new wipers are the trick. The most neglected part on an automobile. Everybody goes "WOW!!!" immediately after new wipers. But they run them down to the metal frames before replacing them.

I have been watching your videos for at least a year. I enjoy them. One thing I noticed lately in your video's is you should change out that windshield. 😊..Just a tip. If you keep Windex and a roll of paper towels, Windex melts the bugs right off. No hard scrubbing at all.

That time for me is when the sun starts to rise. The extra color in the sky makes me want to sleep. I useally pick up a bottle of water and sip until the sun comes all the way up. Or eat some small fruit.

Fireman, Emergency medical (and police, shhhh) sleep on overnight shifts. I've expedited up to 16 hours, entering the mental twilight zone, delirium. I stop and plan to sleep 3 hours off my 6 hr. 31 min. remaining on trip. Then realize, I'm not a Fireman, EMT, police. I can't sleep my shift away. The 6hr 31min will still be there if I sleep 3 hours,Lol!
    Mind playing tricks on me.

I'm a local driver so my all'in miles are about 50/50 as normal. What's your normal all-in miles between loaded and deadhead miles?

All my miles are paid empty sndd loaded. That's how we bid the work. Same with all our drivers. Sometimes they move somewhere else to a better area and cover the mileage on their own but that's not that common.
