I like the idea of a sphere. I always thought it would be interesting to hear a speaker that was spherical and pulse like inflating and deflating a balloon for a truly omnidirectional sound. I haven't come up with how to do it though. 😅
I've only heard these on RUclips videos but the incredibly HUGE AND DEEP soundstage defies their size!!!!! An amazing feat of audio engineering!!! I'm a bassist and that bass guitar sounds INSANLEY GOOD!!! What band is that?
8:59 Unfortunate thing... I want my audio to be independent of Internet or other wireless connection. …and if it has a mic, I want to be able to switch it off with a hardware switch.
How would you connect this for an office setup with Mac mini? Can I use my Schitt Modi D/A to connect my Mac mini? Which sub can you use with it - seems like you cannot use the Pearl sub?
What is the best way to get the best sound quality out of this? Streaming from iPhone via Tidal Hifi? I ordered a set last night and hope to get them soon!
I wasn't in the sweet spot for this demo, so I couldn't do fair comparison. I love Cabasse with their sphere designs. I love that it's active and has DSP for the bass. The looks are polarizing like the Aurora by Aries Cerat, but truthfully I'd take both of those over most other traditional speakers I heard at the show.
They have been around 70+ years, you can read about them here -- en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cabasse_(company). Some innovative stuff from driver design to use of sphere enclosures to avoid diffraction effects and increase soundstage. Not for everyone but something different than typical "box" type enclosures.

Reminds me of the space sphere from Portal 2.

You can connect it with Optic, RCA, Coaxial, LAN, WIFI or Bluethooth.... it has everything
That is MR KEVIN Deal!!!
Who's Kevin deal? A celebrity?
@@alberthalim7767 isn't he the guy from family feud?🤣
Seems like an interesting alternative for a home theater. Would be interested to see what subwoofers they offer.
You can find tne "pearl sub" or the "pearl Keshi" in the same spheric desing or more classical producs at "subwoofers"
but you cannot use the Pearl sub with any of the pearl speakers. Yes, crazy I know!

How can I connect the pearl akoya to my new Mac mini??
How did you find these compared to the Aurora's? Which had better imaging/image solidity?

Huuuuh - Creepy Alien Design inspired by War Of The Worlds 💥👌👽

Check Cabasse and Elipson history, you will learn something about hifi 🙂
That song is pretty terrible though and didn’t sound very good as a demo. All midrange and highs it seemed like
What did you use to listen to the video?
iPhone with AirPod pro
@@AudiophileJunkie
I would try full-range headphones to get more than midrange and highs.
@@gordonm6128airpod pro user talk about sound quality hahahahahaha 😂
uh I listen on my air pod pros when I watch RUclips. Plenty good enough for that. What do you listen to???
