Hey raven so I play Rise of kingdoms and in the game most of the commanders are real people but in the japan civilization most commanders I dont even know can you tell me who is Kusunoki masashige, Ishida Mitsunari, Takeda shingen, Honda Tadakatsu
Okay so all of these individuals were daimyo. Masashige was a daimyo of the Kamakura period who is remembered as one of Japans legendary retainers. He is often celebrated today as embodying the loyalty and devotion of a true samurai, for he stood beside the Imperial Court despite it being an unpopular thing to do and gave his life in battle, saying 'If only I had seven lives to give for my country.' Mitsunari was a samurai during the Sengoku period. He was famous for leading the Western armies against Tokugawa Ieyasu in the Battle of Sekigahara. Mitsunari was defeated by Tokugawa and this would lead into the Tokugawa shogunate (or Edo period). Shingen was one of the most powerful daimyo of the late Sengoku period. He was a master of military tactics and strategy, and was famous for his calvarly. Known as the Tiger of Kai, he was nearly unrivaled in battle, and though he lived in a poor region with no access to the sea, and little usable land, his cunning and military strength were impressive. Tadakatsu was a daimyo who served under Tokugawa Ieyasu in the late Sengoku period and into the Edo period. He was known as one of Tokugawa's 4 Heavenly Kings, and was so skilled in battle, that he earned praise from not just Tokugawa but Oda Nobunaga as well.
