Milky oil cap? First step, check the head gasket. T-shirt available in our Etsy shop: www.GasketDesigns.Etsy.com
Can't wait to try this. Thank you!!
Thank you. I've seen a photo guide but it was hard to see exactly what to do, this is much clearer.
You're welcome!
Really great tip 👍and you'd never guess about the guaranteed boot leek being the rear light unit gaskets till someone tells you which will save you money as its a simple diy job.
This also works with the hardtop!
I'll remember that tip cheers David 👍
Nice video dude, thanks. Almost finished getting mine ready for MOT after being sat for a couple of years :-)
Thanks. Good luck with the MOT! 🤞
Nice simple fix, interesting to see how to align windows.
Thanks. The passenger side window definitely needs realigning, so I’ll probably cover that in another video
Looks easy and useful! Thanks!
Thanks for the tip and have a great week
thanks for your advice
No problem. Glad you found it helpful!
i watched it and im defniitly gonna try this with my mgf, just something i was wondering is: does it actually work?
It depends what the cause is to be honest. I think they always leak a bit, but it certainly helped mine leak less
a perfect thank you very much
Very helpful video. Thanks. Did the fix work?
For me it worked, but I know it doesn’t work for everyone. If it doesn’t work, check the window alignment and the window cheaters next 👍
@@theMGTF Thanks for your advice. I'll definitely be trying the PVC tube fix you suggest first!
Good luck, I hope it works for you 🤞
@@theMGTF Great tip! Worked for me, too!
what size tubing did you fit please? Also is the part on the door fixable just by aligning windows? Thanks!
I fitted tubing with an internal diameter of 3mm, although I’ve heard people using larger tubing with an internal diameter of 5mm
Never use PVC. Surgical tubing only PVC turns into hard plastic in the winter and it cuts up the factory seal.

what size did you use?
I used 3mm (internal diameter) tubing, but I know others who have used 5mm
