The country and gaucho culture is really important for certain Argentines. Mainly the more conservative. But even the ones don't really into that respect the hard work men and women that works the dirt. They feed the Nation and the world with there hardwork. And outside all those reasons. Wine and asado. Why wouldn't you be happy hahahahaha

You took me back to my childhood memories! I used to go every year with my parents. I'm so glad that this is so engrained in the Argentine culture still. It was usually a long day spent at La Rural among gauchos, horses and cows. Very simple but such an exhausting and fulfilling day. Living in Texas, not far from Stockyards in Fort Worth now, where I can see the long horns display their beauty. Yet, I think gauchos in Argentina are even nowadays so proud of being one and will not let that feeling die. Happy for you and your family soaking all in! ;-)

Ohhh there's so much we'd like you to learn about our rural culture!! I remember there was a pretty acurate Disney cartoon of the 50ties that portrayed goofy as a Gaucho. Basic but acurate hahaha. Anyway, in time as you get settled, have your baby and get ready to travel, you don't have to go far from Buenos Aires to experience how these people live, their music and customs.

Hi Tunner! I'm glad you liked La Rural. It's a nice opportunity for children from big cities to see bulls, horses and sheep live. They love ! (Once the teacher told the children: "draw a chicken", and many of the children drew a peeled chicken, like the ones in the supermarket. They had never seen chickens with feathers in the big city, poor things)

Cuando te sientas cómodo con tu familia para recorrer mas allá de la ciudad de Buenos Aires te recomiendo ir a Carlos Keen o Tomas Jofre a comer en alguna parrilla libre y disfrutar de un dia de campo. Y para el 10 de noviembre que se celebra el dia de la tradición de recomiendo ir a San Antonio de Areco.

Do you know why in Argentina the hot dog is called "pancho"?. It's the convination between PAN (bread) and CHO rizo (sausage) 🌭. It also could be from FRANKfuter wurstehen . Frank in Spanish is Francisco and the nickname is PANCHO. Hope you and your family enjoy La Rural....

When you go to the provinces, there are lots of festivals with display of autoctonos goods. Fairs. Right now festival "el poncho" is in Catamar ca. A poncho is an item
of clothing typical of the gaucho.

Vivo en BA y nunca fui a La Rural. A veces uno que es de acá necesita ver desde los ojos de alguien que viene de afuera las cosas, para apreciar y recordar todo lo lindo y bueno que está a nuestro alcance. La crisis económica a veces te hace vivir tan preocupado y acelerado que te olvidas de disfrutar de tu propia ciudad. Ahora que las cosas empiezan a calmarse y a mejorar, ojalá pueda tomarme el tiempo de ir este año.

I doubt there will be any problem this time. It's going to be a sea of people that day, it always is, they also televise it and you can listen to it more comfortably. hello. I don't know if you could notice that the gauchos...they carry a huge knife on their belt on their back...they can do it. It is part of their clothing to walk armed with a long knife and it is not a felony if you are gaucho.

The reason is that for the gauchos the "facón", which is the second knife in size is their defense weapon in some places against pumas or yaguaretés (both a type of small lion). The biggest knife of the Gauchos is the caronero, now seldom used, which is kept, due to its big size, between the "caronas", the matresses below the saddle. The smallest one is the "verijero" (from "verija", groin) because it is carried at the front inserted in the belt in the angle of the right groin.

I’m glad you enjoyed it! It was a really fun one to do. The kids loved the animals! They also loved the hamburgers, which were incredibly soft and actually the best we’ve ever had.

Thank you for being here! This was an incredible event with a rich culture and beautiful people. I really enjoyed being here. I have some video editing to do, but I hope to get a talking video out about it.
My overall story is, I’m here with my wife and two children. We’re giving birth to our third child here to get citizenship! So I’ll be documenting that whole experience. I’ll also continue to make videos describing my thoughts and walking videos like this where you can relax and watch.

@@Economic_Front As a video editor, I suggest, if you are not comfortable enough speaking in English in public (which I understand) you can do it later. No one will scream at you asking you to speak Spanish like they do in the US when someone speaks in a foreign language (soft cough).
If you are using some editing software, I would record a separate voice audio (using a phone app if you are not using a microphone) and uploaded to your video editing software. Reduce the original audio and your voice will take over...maybe adding some soft music in the background. If your video doesn't have a stabilizer already, you're doing a pretty good job not moving or shaking the camera, it was pretty smooth. We're ready for more!

If you have the license you can buy weapons, bullets, swords, military knives, airsoft and collectible objects such as grenades (obviously desabled). I don't remember which ones you can buy without licenses and which ones you need a license. There are also vehicles such as boats and motor homes, there are camping tents, backpacks and military clothing. It is also nice to walk around because there are WWII exhibitions like weapons, uniforms and old military objects.
There are also airsoft games
