Good job Josh. I bought my POD Go 3/2023. It was rough getting started. I use the snapshot mode mostly so I can hit 1 button when I am lead singing the song. But I use the same patch in stompbox mode to because I found when I am not singing it gives options in each patch that does what I need when I am being just the guitar player. Handy tool the POD Go is. I modified my Deluxe and Blues Jr. amp gain stage configuration to the original Bassman with the JTM45 High pass filter and reduced the Bright cap to 1/10th of the bright. Really sounds good after 20 years of experimenting. So, I run my amp at in the clean and with some tube crunch for my bands. I use all Celestion G12-65s in the amps. Because if the risk of tube amp failures at a gig, I am struggling with the sound of the amp/speaker models sounding right. I just bought the Celestion G12-65 IR pack. It's still not happening. I will give the US Double Nrm that you used in the video a try. I didn't see the bright options the first time I gave it a try. Thanks for pointing that out. Wish me luck. Cheers!
Thanks for watching 🙏 Yes, good luck on your tone quest 🙂
@@JoshGordonGuitar Thanks brother! I changed to using the 10 band EQ way better that the parametric. So I moved the EQ to after the speaker cab simulator. Wow, it solved my tone issue. It really improved my set of patches for my real tube amp too. Thank you.
Hey Josh, thanks man. So nice to see a REAL guy just showing you how things are done. I have had a Pod Go for a long time now and I am always fighting the thing to get the right sound for my band - I really learned some good stuff from you today, especially triggering multiple fx with a single switch to get a great distorted sound.
Thanks so much for the kind words 🙏 Glad the video was helpful 🤟
Thank you for doing these. I've been getting there as a new Pod Go user but there were definitely a few things in here I learned that I didn't even know you could do yet. Appreciate your channel bro.
Awesome! Glad the video was helpful 🙏
😊Nice one Josh😊
Thanks so much 🙏
Heyyy just subbed, found you from the Facebook group, good content. Your PRS and the pickup toggle, ever get it worked on? I’m having a weird issue also where it feels squishy when flipping to the neck
Luckily I have not had that issue. The issue I usually have with the SE's are the toggle switch cutting out. But some decent contact cleaner solves that issue nicely.
Hey Josh,
Thx for your video👍👍
One question: Programming my Podgo Presets (Clean, Crunch, Distortion ) with good Studio Headphone sounds really great.
But that sound has nothing to do with the PA Sound in our rehearsal room (sounds much worse:(
So I tweeked it while connected to PA.
Would the FrFr 108 help as device for sound output similar to PA ? > with minor tweeking in PA use.
That would make it much easier 😊
Regards from Germany
Oliver
THe sound between the PA and FRFR will most likely have differences as well. When I use a FRFR at gigs I tweak my presets to how they sound through the FRFR...and then run a signal from the FRFR to the house PA.
👍👍thx Josh
