vanilla bean is an exact dupe for beach nights.... when i had beach nights i smelled them both together and closed my eyes and it indeed was exact

They smell both the same at first, but the warmth of your skin makes them slightly different.
I really did think vanilla bean smelled almost exactly like beach nights. Beach nights has that salty note though.

I received my shipment of vanilla bean today, finally! It is as classy as I remember it before. It smells just like pure vanilla . . . no bakery, no coconut, no beach. I love it! I love the departure to au naturel. I am a huge bakery/foodie. So the simplicity of vanilla bean is a lovely break. It is only a tad bit weaker than before. But most of their formulas have been diluted lately. So, I can live with that. I was afraid it was going to be floral as so many are commenting online. I believe most people are used to vanilla as an ingredient and don't know what pure vanilla smells like. Lol!😄

Love all vanilla scents! Great video idea Bonnie 💛💛. I like the whipped vanilla chiffon, it’s a sweet vanilla. The vanilla bean was too floral and overpowering to me.

That whole line is repackaged. The strawberry one is strawberry vanilla bourbon repacked. The blackberry mint one is a repack of raspberry sweet mint from 2015. And then the vanilla is beach nights.

To me I think vanilla bean is very close to beach nights. I enjoy the whipped vanilla chiffon. It smells like a more mellow snowy citrus swirl! Btw I love your comparison videos.🥰

I love Vanilla Bean, because it's such a unique blend and I think the tonka bean is what really makes it stand out. It's a totally different note I'm just not used to, but I think that's part of the allure/appeal. It's mysterious.

Hi Bonnie. Were you a fan in the mid-late 90s? The reason I ask is because the company sold a collection of three vanilla perfumes in metal spray bottles back then. One was an incredibly authentic and sultry single-note vanilla bean that lingered for hours. It lasted for years without losing its potency, too. My mom and I both still miss it more than 20 years later. That was classic B&BW at its finest...

I have the Room Spray, which is Vanilla, Marshmallow and Nutmeg. Anyone knows what might be the closest Vanilla body mist I could try? It seems Vanilla Bean mist, which has the same notes as the cream, smells very different.
Ive never heard of any of these LOL. Whipped Vanilla Chiffon & Wild Madagascar sound great!

I know this has nothing to do with the vanilla bean but i have questioned the notes on champagne toast. If u look at the notes on the full size packages and the soap and candles and the notes on the travel size package, they are different. Most of them says “ A cheers-worthy spritzer of bubbly champagne, sparkling berries & juicy tangerine” while the travel size ones say “ A cheers-worthy spritzer of pink champagne, black currant chambord, sparkling nectarine & sugared musk” Does it smell different? I assume you have both of them lol.
Heather Brunette I think it’s the same scent they just say different stuff on the bottles. They seem to do that a lot.

Big vanilla here! Can't wait to try whipped vanilla chiffon... may be a while though cause I'm from the UK. I love vanilla bean but it smells nothing like beach nights imo! Funny how everyone smells things differently! Beach night is one of my all time faves and smells completely different to vanilla bean!

I’m surprised they haven’t released it yet too! It won’t be here in time for Mother’s Day the way shipping is (not complaining either, I totally understand). I was at BBW today and one of the employees told me sometimes BBW rebrands/repackages their scents so it’s definitely possible that Vanilla Bean could be a cousin to Beach Nights.
I'm always suckered into trying all the Vanilla scents! My favorite was Boardwalk Marshmallow Clouds. Do you know if this was a repackaged scent or a scent that was pretty close?

Hey Bonnie! I haven't tried my Vanilla Bean yet, but will soon. I do have Beach Nights so I will be able to compare. I'll get back to you on this video when I do. I have never seen that Marshmallow Magic! Do you know what year that is from? My fave BBW vanilla so far is def the Whipped Vanilla & Spice. YUMMMMY! Reminds me of Pumpkin Cupcake hand cream/candle. I keep hoping they will bring it back. I do keep vanilla & marshmallow scents separate as far as "judging" goes LOL!

@@QueenoftheGirlGeeks I just got out of the shower. I had only used the Beach Nights shower gel before because that's all that SAS had.........but I LOVED it! It had a sheening action that felt so good & the scent was strong. Today I opened up the Vanilla Bean & the Beach Nights gels. I smelled them both before my shower. They smelled almost identical. I took a shower with the Vanilla Bean & to me, it is a weaker scent & also had no sheening action when rinsing. :( Tonight will be my first time to try each of them in the lotion. (I'll put it on before bed) And then tomorrow morning I will try each scent in the mists to compare. (I got BN lotion & mist from Tina Marie's Mercari!
Marshmallow Magic came out in either 2016 or 2017 I believe
@@QueenoftheGirlGeeks OK I used the lotion last night & thought maybe the BN had more of a toasted scent as I was applying, but afterward I couldn't tell the difference between each arm. Earlier before heading out to Sprouts, I sprayed VB on my right arm & BN on my left. Couldn't tell the difference. I'm glad I got the VB- just wish it were a bit stronger. :)
