I saw this in the theaters. I remember going home that night after the movie and jumping off the sofa doing kicks and stuff in the air. I was hyped. Put on my Zeo red Halloween costume and had my weapons going room to room terrorizing people 😂😂😂
Alright, I gotta point this out... So it is pretty much accepted at this point that what Billy was working on in the last half of Zeo, when he kept disappearing as a red herring for the gold ranger, was the Turbo powers. Not to mention, what the hell else is he doing all day after he graduated early, and the others are still in school? Keep in mind that, before Turbo, ranger powers were not compatible with children. That's why when, in MMPR season 3, the rangers were turned into kids (not once, but twice), and could not morph, so they had to rely on the Alien Rangers of Aquitar. So it would make sense that, with Billy making the Turbo powers, after experiencing being unable to morph as kids, he would put in a contingency that the powers would be compatible with children... I understand that... But can we talk about how, immediately after Billy made powers compatible for children, Zordon recruited a child? Not only a child, but a child living in an orphanage, because his mom is dead, and his dad is away on business... 100%, given his way, half way through Turbo, had he not given the rangers their option to choose their own successors... He would have chosen a bunch of expendable orphans... Don't @ me... Zordon is a monster.
Unlike the first Power Rangers movie that was its own thing separate from the series (and is now officially confirmed to be in a separate universe), the Turbo Movie is canon to the series and usually viewed as a four-part season premiere to Turbo, despite the actual season premier being released a month later where they already have the Turbo powers and know all about Divatox and Lerigot.
Can y’all do all of the power rangers morphing sequences? I think it’ll give your girl an insight to see how each power ranger series went if that makes sense but I highly recommend
If Alpha's short range locators knew exactly where Leragot is, why did he teleport Tommy and Kat many miles away from him? It's an African jungle, it's not a pleasant stroll in the park. And all they have is one tiny can of water to share.

Tommy Oliver, Legendary Ranger, beat Lord Zedd in hand to hand combat, beat Goldar while unmorphed, defeated a giant alien dinosaur skeleton, even beat his own clone twice, but can't wrestle a snake. Also can't spot a giant ghost ship right in front of him, it even had a spotlight on it.
Tommy did not defeat Zedd in hand to hand combat. Rewatch the episode, Tommy got schooled and did not land a single hit. He broke Zedd's staff and that forced him to retreat.

Her brother and Nephew were the real challenge for the 2nd team
She had a brother in the 2nd half of Turbo. Another Villain Dark Specter had caught Zordon. Rita, Zedd, Divatox, the Machine Empire and Astronema were working for him.

I really don't get why people totally hated on Turbo! I mean, I get having a little kid as a Power Ranger was weird, but I still loved the show and the movie a whole bunch! They were my go-to growing up along with Mighty Morphin, Zeo, Time Force, and Wild Force (Was born in 1996, hence why I ended skipping over a few. 😅Seen them all now though)
......Zeo is still superior, was still not clear why they needed to change, but there's some nice theories like...zeo powers get too strong for the teenage body to handle. So that's why you see Tommy still using Zeo later as an adult.
Fun Fact: This movie is directly after Zeo and prequel to The Turbo Series, which led to “In Space” which is sadly the last series of the Zordan Era 😧 Ironically I’m currently rewatching the series from the beginning XDD I’m on Power Rangers: In Space unironically after Turbo Lol

You can laugh at justin getting a growth after morphing but in the super sentai version of the white tiger power, it was a teen kid that was the white ranger and would do goofy shit. Was cool that they paid homage to that

Most pr fans don't like this movie but I do. it's not a great movie but if I was doing something I would listen to this in the background. I think this is a good movie but the fact that it was power rangers let people down because as a power rangers movie it sucks but if this was a regular superhero movie, it would've been great. same thing with the 2017 movie
I'm in the minority that Turbo is actually the best Power Rangers movie. The best megazord fighting just because it's guys in suits and not awkward-looking CGI, continuation of the show as this links into the Turbo TV show proper, and while yes, some bits are jarring like the Zeo powers not being used while the Turbo powers just randomly thrust into the story, Justin replacing Rocky, Jason and Kimberly only there for fan service plus the original cut was 3 hours long and would have explained a lot of stuff, every time I watch the Turbo movie, I'm thoroughly enjoyed by it. 3/5.
Movie fact this was how the writers were going make Amy Jo Johnson character Kimberly as original pink ranger final appearance because she wanted to do more projects on her own.

Some people didn't like ther being a kid in the power rangers, but I kind of liked the mentor/ older sibling relationship the rangers had with Justin.
