Nolan Knows--Sorry! I didn't see your note until now--been having trouble getting notifications. I was referring to Mark Everett's GREAT autobiography--very uplifting overall--where he said that he told God that if He would help him with his music, he would try to help people with his music. Not a direct quote, but the sentiment is accurate I think. There are several statements, snippets of poems I should mark. I bought two copies so that I could mark one up and have an extra pristine one. Just got the new cd. My favorite so far is 'Bone Dry," but I've only heard the entire cd once so far. I recommend the book! No, he didn't sell his soul to the devil like so many of them have. Mark has a sacred mentality that shows in his music and writing. Over.
