@Christian Tamayo hmmm idk maybe a hunter who was trying to get up as high as possible to get to dream but when he got up realized he didn't have enough block so they started using whatever they had. Pretty simple to figure out if you pay attention to most minecraft videos where people are trying to reach a certain height then realize they cant

@@8-gamingnight288 Didn't say it was impossible, just that ever since he cheated and ADMITTED to doing so, it opens up room to suspect some of the more cinematic moments of Manhunts, like this one. Plus there's lots of suspicious things here, like how the boat pops up in the background hotbar but not the UI's hotbar and without being clicked off the table. I don't doubt that doing the boat clutch itself was legitimate and took a lot of skill and timing, but the crafting of the boat? Pretty suspicious.

When i was watching live i was mid asleep so i didn't realize how extreme this is
They say "wait what?!" about 2 frames after he interacts with the crafting table. Given that Dream has been proven a cheater in the past, I really don't see this being any different. It's *entertaining*, but like much of entertainment, it's not real.
They say “wait what?!” Because Sapnap said, “BYE DREAM!” and they were confused. Bad proboably wasn’t expecting Sapnap to just jump down on him. And even if it was fake, he still managed to make that crazy clutch first try.
Dude, we gotta admit, even if someday we discover this is fake, it will still be the most epic minecraft series of all time

You could tell he was trying to set up a slightly easier boat crafting clutch by placing his workbench on the platform, giving him slightly more time to craft midair, but if you watch the uncut version of the manhunt, Dream sees the other crafting table on the smaller tower as he's smelting, so he knew he could use that as a backup if need be. Still doesn't make the MLG any less impressive though - in fact, it just showcases his level of forethought, which he needs if he wants to survive any of these videos. Every action has to be planned out, practiced beforehand, and deliberately executed at the correct time. The fact that he remembered exactly the place in his inventory where the wooden planks were located, and navigated to them that quickly as well. Insane.
For me, practicing this kind of plays is obviously not about increasing his survivability, as there are many simpler ways to survive in a lot of situations he gets in (I know that from my years of experience in pvp/factions servers, and some logic too). It's just about showmanship.
I respect the creativity of the plays he shows in his videos (this play was technically difficult to pull off too), it sure would be entertaining if I forgot about the fact that this was heavily practiced and prepared, but I can't get passed the fact that this is mostly about manipulating an audience of easily-impressed children. You seem to be a person with better hindsight than most people in the comments, so I can't really understand how you could appreciate this kind of content.
@@dfuzerz I suppose I just respect the skill of the plays more than anything. It doesn't really bother me that they're somewhat artificial, as it's entertaining to watch them be performed by such a great Minecraft player regardless.

If you go frame by frame you can see him gaining height when placing the boat and hover for a few frames before getting in. Is this a normal behavior? (serious question, I don't play that much to know for sure)

If you look really closely at the bottom of the screen right before he finishes crafting the boat, you can see it already in his hotbar. Smh I know manhunt is for entertainment but since we already know that this is a totally feasible feat, it's just lazy.

This is clearly fake, and why you ask?
Even with shift click + drag the boat shouldn't appear in his hotbar BEFORE the crafting slot gets highlighted (that is because you can only grab the item when your cursor is actually above the slot, which highlights it). If you go frame by frame you can see the boat appear in his hotbar before his cursor is even over the slot at all.
Also the hotbar in his inventory and the one on the bottom of the screen are different. Now you may say that is because of lag, but that actually works against him. If lag happens the boat would FIRST appear in his inventory and only THEN appear in his hotbar at the bottom.
So how did he fake it? In the air he right clicked the crafting table while someone waited to give him the item with a command or it may even be complety automated with a command block.
After that all he had to do was record himself crafting a boat as fast as possible and speed it up so it lines up with the original footage.
This has been proven possible by some people

You slow down the video you can see while he’s making the boat a boat popped into his inventory and he didn’t even finish making the boat
