Alex O'Conner has a great conversation with Christopher Magnify about the linguistics of Genesis, i know that you interpret the day as beginning at sunrise, symbolically that is a cool idea, however biblical scholars that have studied the bible thier entire life would disagree.
@lynnlavoy6778 Scholars aren't given the wisdom of God unless they humble themselves and seek him in obedience. The whole world is deceived except the very elect. Luke 10:21 [21]In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight. 1 Corinthians 1:26-29 [26]For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called: [27]But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; [28]And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: [29]That no flesh should glory in his presence. Matthew 24:24 [24]For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
Yes we do, you can't show i the scripture that the day start with sunrise because creation started in the dark... you missed the entire theological concept if you skip the darkness that it begins in.
@FishermensCorner The darkness in day 1 is not nighttime. It's the chaos before God creates light. Are you able to explain how sunset and sunrise are somehow 24 hours when put together?
Darkness was not officially counted as a night yet. It was void and dark. So technically in scripture, Yah spoke first over the earth in regards to creating was "Let there be light".
Bible is very clear sunset (evening) starts a new day, and morning is continuing of the 24hrs day till sunset . God didn’t make His word complicated for people to understand.
@feagainiumata1416 Matthew 28:1 [1]In the 👉end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week,👈 came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre. End of Sabbath = Sunday dawn Very clear.
You guys. The month starts on/after the new moon. The moon disappears and a few hours later it starts to appear again. When you see that new light it begins the first day. It does not matter what day it is. If the new moon starts to show on Tuesday, Shabbat would be the following Tuesday. It’s not Saturday. Y’hu doesn’t use the Gregorian calendar. LOL

You're a living, breathing example of why women are to keep silent and remain under the authority of men regarding the scriptures.

@matthew953 and the first light is not sunlight either. That's actually the whole point.
@FishermensCorner Matthew's belief reminds me of the cohan, the finger pointing at the moon is not the moon.
@@lynnlavoy6778 ohhhh, that's a good point. thanks

@@matthew953 same as in genesis.
@@feagainiumata1416 Matthew 28:1 does not say a day begins at sunset. Read it again.
