An extraordinary recording and beautiful intepretation of this oratorio. It is sad that commonly only the Messiah, among is played and published, despite Haendel the many other oratorios composed by the beloved G F Haendel. oratorios. This piece, in particular, is a gem.
I am a dedicated student of Handel's works, I have attended many concerts of this work but this one surpassed them all. The interpretation and execution is unique. Congratulations to each one.
i have sung 2 or 3 of the pcs, but never the entire oratorio. it is ashamed that so few choirs undertake it here in america. it is an exciting piece, and musically a wonderful teaching piece.
