Danielle, concerning the hard time you've had recently....let me encourage you to focus on 'today'. We cannot change one thing about 'yesterday' or the past...we can try to work things out with people, which we should, and forgive and let go..but today is what we have. We cannot even live in our 'tomorrows'. Our minds are always trying to control the outcomes of what we cannot control...we are only responsible for ourselves, our actions, our remaining grateful, and only living in 'today'. God bless you. He loves you. That saying "Let go and Let God" may apply here. Thank you for the beautiful garden tour..it speaks to His beauty and how majestic He is. Lori

Many people now have had such a hard time. It was bad enough with the isolation and fear from the virus, now people are struggling to make ends meet for just basic necessities. We do need to try to focus on the opportunity of each day to try to remain grateful and be a peace. It's hard I know but I hope for all today, especially you Danielle, that your day goes well and things become brighter. We all need to stick together and support each other.

Thanks for the idea about planting early/mid season tulips together and then late season tulips somewhere else to enjoy 2 great shows. I prefer vibrant tulips too -- love the orange/purple combo. I know putting in the library really did a number on your soil and then moving it over to that spot, but it just add so much to that space. I love how it looks like it has always been there.

While you continue to search for the Peace you so richly deserve I wanted to share with you the gift of peace you have given to me this past year.
A year ago I had spinal fusion surgery and recovery has been rough because my spinal nerves were so severely damaged.
I find great joy in gardening so not to be able to dig in the dirt has been a depressing loss for me.
My husband has done his best to care for our gardens and even planted Spring and Summer plants in our flower pots. I was grateful but I still grieved the loss of “My” garden. (The loss of planting and caring for the flowers myself.)
You and Your garden have brought me peace and happiness. Thank you ❤
Last week while sitting… I planted Spring blooms in my flower pots. That’s a start…
I pray that you will experience Peace and joy in the days ahead ❤❤

I don't know your thought process on your garden, but I think sometimes we get far too critical. Your garden is beautiful, but it will never be perfect. You have to learn to be more relaxed and enjoy the beauty that is all around. My garden is far from perfect but the bees, birds, caterpillars and all the other wildlife in it more than make up for any imperfections. Do that and I'm sure you will soon become that little girl who can fall asleep to the scents and hum of all the wildlife around her. ❤️

Danielle, I lost my garden companion last September. Angus was the sweetest, most loving canine. We had many years togethet, but I was never going to be ready to say goodbye. He always laid watch while I toiled in the garden, or would do walk-abouts with me. My heart and my garden just haven't been the same without him here. I love your new library picture, and I understand every bit of what you were explaining. ❤

Danielle, I have always found your garden breathtaking and inspiring! And you keep improving upon it. Right now, it looks like a fairytale garden! Whenever I find myself opining about my very basic beginner garden, I remind myself that godliness with contentment is great gain. It is VERY hard sometimes for me to look at other people's gardens without feeling awful about mine. Hi Danielle. The salmon and pink tulip combo at the start of the video are so beautiful. I like both tight and loose planting styles which give airiness to the beds. The Muvota tulips are striking. So is your pink crabapple tree! I agree that the spring garden is so precious and necessary after a long winter. It gives you sunshine way before the sun really shows up 😊
