Finished Row 150 on the Tuesday before Week 6B was published, intended to have the rest of the day off and start the front border the next day. But an hour later saw me starting on the 1st border as I couldn't contain myself any longer! I'm still on it as the yarn I'm using is a bit 'clingy' (it's not SSDK or Wendy Supreme) and have to stop and 'un-cling' the ends and working yarn, from time to time. No idea when I'm likely to be starting the 2nd border, but as long as I'm finished The whole thing by the time I'll be going to my sisters' next year, I'll be happy!
Now that I am on the 2nd row of the 1st border it seems to me that you MUST skip the 1st stitch from the row below below, otherwise you will have too many stitches!
This will be my first time using your different method for the double border…….it looks lovely. I did your Lizzie blanket and I really struggled with the slip stitch start on the double border. This new method looks a lot easier.
I have 3 rows left to complete week 5, then onto the border. Long weekend here in New Zealand, but unfortunately ill be working😢 . My border will be started tonight, hopefully
@@mylindaclark6271 it is disappointing to me that you feel this way…. Everyone’s tension is different and many people have not run out of any of their colours…. Such are the perils of crochet!

2 or so days on and I've done 1 and a quarter long sides and 1 and a half short sides of the first round of border 1.

Thank you for such a lovely blanket! My first CAL with you which i thoroughly enjoyed - even though I’m on Team Snail 😊

I don’t know how to finish off the double border I haven’t done it before will we get another video for the other side?
Yes, Jane, it will come out on Wednesday which will be week 6b.
🥰🧶👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼😍👍🏼❤️😘
Anyone else having trouble running out of color of yarn within stitches of finishing row?
Yes I am on last 4 rows, ran out of Orange, I'm going to use pumpkin
Hopefully, I can find something to match. I really didn't want to hodge-podge this.
You can use a colour you have more of to exchange, just be careful not to use the colours in the border, Anja x
Yes, I could do that, but shouldn't have to. Very disappointing, I feel I have been set up to fail.
