We receive the spirit which enables us to call Jesus Lord He energises us. It is not our duty but our outworking of the spirit within us.

We are heirs of the Father joint heirs with the Son. And children of the kingdom. We are one. We have the glory of God now.
If God be for us who can be against us. That is so reassuring to know that God stands in our corner, he holds us in His hands, He's concerned about our lives and is with us in our darkest hours. I live in Asia which offers Islamism, Buddhism and Hinduism but none of these religions come close to the power, love and redeeming grace of our Lord and Savior. Thanks for sharing, Ashtyn.

In previous chapter sin use the law as a fulcrum to cause us to sin. We agree that the law is just and holy. But of ourselves we try to keep the law and we fail. Paul says that it is not I that does it but sin working in me. Sin of itself is stronger than I am of myself. However we are under the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus which has set us free.....we have the Sonship which means Christ dwelling in us.
