  • Want to know the impact of a vasectomy on a semen retention practice? Long story short, if you have a vasectomy, you STILL get the benefits of a semen retention practice. Try the practice for yourself, for free: bit.ly/7-Day-Semen-Retention-...
There's not a lot of good info out there on semen retention and vasectomies, so I interviewed about 30 guys and did some research...
This video is the culmination of those conversations and research, plus a new level of video editing on my part - out of the love of the craft of storytelling. The visuals are super inspiring for me, and I hope they are for you too. They'll give you some insight into how I view the world too...
If there's anything in this video that you have a question about, or if there's anything I misspoke on, please let me know. I want to make sure I'm always giving the best information I possibly can, and I'm not personally attached to being correct. Thank you!
    One more thing...
In this video I reduce semen retention to a series of biological and neurological processes... for the sake of shared understanding. AND... I do believe there's more going on here, and I'm not sure science will ever be able to fully understand the life force energy that runs through everything. It's possible that us as humans will never fully understand the true nature of life and existence... so I'd like to express my reverence for the great mystery too. Thank you for receiving...

I had a vasectomy 40 years ago. Yes, there is a refractory period, but the loss of energy after an ejaculation IS LESS, compared to the pre-vasectomy experience.

  • @BeyondTheAlchemy

Good video..:) I feel theres 2 reasons why this operation doesn't give a get out of jail free card when a man orgasms: #1 (as was shared) you get a strong dopamine release regardless, and that always requires recovery time because its a drug experience, (what goes up must go down), which is different than a true intimate merging of energy type experience (this revitalizes you). And #2 you still lose ojas (the subtle essence of semen or in my words- the life force)- and this of course will reduce our overall virility and so there will be less energy available physically, emotionally, mentally, spiritually. Its all about energy conservation and energy management!

Hey Taylor. I'm a little late finding your content but I'll leave a comment anyway.
Firstly great information and brilliantly presented, respect.
I'm 61 years old and had a vasectomy 25 years ago. It didn't make any difference to my sex life other than taking away the concern of future pregnancies which was awesome.
I've recently experienced a dramatic change in my life circumstances which has allowed me to focus more on my mental and physical health and wellbeing. Part of that has been the practice of semen retention. I'm currently on day 9 and have noticed several benefits. I'm more relaxed and calmer. I'm sleeping better and having more erotic dreams which I find pleasurable. I feel I have more energy when working out. This is very subjective but I do feel like I'm getting more attention from the opposite sex and I feel confident. I haven't yet experienced any negative aspects.
    Please keep producing great content.
    Peace brother..

I had my vasectomy when I was 22. Once I was sterile, the relief from the possibility of a pregnancy was awesome. I experienced ejaculatory orgasms like I had never before. Amazing what pregnancy "white noise" in the brain can do to alter the experience. The connection experienced with my partners was also more intense because of that fact. I had never heard about semen retention until seeing this video so will definitely investigate further. (Earrings tastefully done just like mine!)

I've experienced that when my past partners were on hormonal birth control, but now I'm not a fan of hormonal birth control anymore... so I practice retention and ejaculatory choice while having sex to avoid pregnancy. So far so good (over the past 6 years that I've been practicing this). And to be clear, I still do love ejaculatory orgasms, I just do them occasionally. Cheers brother!

He's right about semen retention not actually having any effect and that it's to do with some other hormone systems.
I should be upfront and say I don't buy into " magical life force " with nothing objective quoted and the pseudo science being purported here though.
Firstly semen retention in a non vasectomised person is just abstinence. You don't hold onto semen. You don't gleam some magical benefit from it because it exits one way or another.
Excess sperm/semen is just past out in your urine. It doesn't matter if you have sex or masturbate or don't, the semen / sperm exits your body anyway. Because your testicular glands never stop making sperm, like wise your seminal vesicle gland never stops making semen and unsurprisingly the body has a system top stop build up called having a piss.
I call bullshit that you could lose enough minerals or vitamins in an ejaculate to have any effect other than a psychosomatic one.
While its off topic. I don't understand how anyone can think being vasectomised is good for your health. They did in the 1900's ( like 1910 - 1920 ) but they realised it wasn't.
Its makes you sterile, that's it.
The testicle never stops creating sperm. The excess sperm either forms a granuloma on a open ended Vasectomy or literally ruptures the epididymis to get out in the closed variations, then forming a granuloma.
Once your immune system gets in contact with the sperm you create anti-sperm antibodies. The sperm are not magically reabsorbed giving you back there " life force - what ever that is " . No, the sperm are attacked by your immune system in a life long system of inflammation. You will literally have inflammation in and around your testicles for the rest of your life if you have a vasectomy, even after reversal. Its essentially a mild auto-immune situation.
This is why the Vas-deferens has such a think cell wall relative to its lumen size. To make sire they do not come into contact with each other.
