@@packerpf I agree but you are undermining her ability. She was a fantastic grappler. Her greatest strengths and fighting style were completely coached out of her. She was made to believe she was a world class striker when she never was. Had she continued to utilize her fantastic judo base, I feel she would've been a much more competitive force that stuck around much longer. Even her mom hated what her coach did to her.

@@armando1is1greatI agree to an extent but any true MMA fighter needs a striking game now. The men had their time too years ago where dominant grapplers ruled until guys strong in both started appearing and evicted them. Womens MMA experienced the same just on a smaller scale. Ronda wasnt going to last long unless she developed a competent striking game. Unfortunately for her she was not a quick student like GSP was and then, in a colossally stupid move, they had her stand and strike with the best striker in the history of womens MMA.

Instead of being humbled after her loss to Holly Holm, Ronda decided that she was going on a media blackout leading up to this fight. Which is understandable after she got memed to death by her loss to Holly. I knew it was going to be a disaster of a matchup when Amanda improved her cardio and started destroying her opponents. Every casual wrote off Amanda and was waiting on the return of Rousey. Except that the fans were left wondering if Ronda improved her striking since her loss a year earlier. Cat Zingano stated that the hardest she was ever hit was against Amanda.

When your head becomes Amanda Nunes’ speedbag. 😂❤ I call bullshit on her claim that she was sooo concussed going into this fight that it wasn’t fair. She took at least 17-18 straight to the head, some landing smack right on the temple and ear. If she had been so concussed going in, she would’ve been out from any one of those shots. But she was still standing at the end. She got hurt, rocked, and stunned. She got outboxed by a superior striker, but never was out cold. She’s making excuses and refusing to give Nunes her flowers for being the great fighter and great champ that she was. Sour grapes Ronda! Bad sportsmanship.
Imagine if Ronda had fought Shevchenko? Valentina would’ve annihilated her too.
