The engine sounds like a Pratt & Whitney. It's good to see Delta is still using the Corvette of the skies. :-) I also know that Delta is holding on to the 757's bigger sibling, the 767 a while longer.

As always, such an amazing video of a night takeoff! I don’t know how most pilots feel about flying in the dark, but your view is fantastic! Just how big is LAX?? Looks massive!✨
So they all buzz, it just depends on where you’re sitting. In particular, if you sit behind the engines you won’t be able to hear it. What you’re actually hearing is a bunch of small sonic booms coming from the end of the fan blades. All engines do it, some are louder than others, and like I said, you have to be in front of the engine to really hear it.

Well, at least there will still be a lot of 777's flying. Delta is only retiring them because they were a very small part of their fleet. Many other airlines will continue to fly the 777.
i could honestly listen to plane engine buzz noises for hours
You and me both my friend!
Same here. It just made me fall asleep. It’s lullaby to me

Hopefully delta can hold on to these beautiful birds a bit longer. Amazing vid :)
Thanks my friend. I hope so too.
Riding a Delta 757 with an engine view would be the best moment that couldn't ever ever forget.

@@alyssamay5828 ?? You got the cpu!?
Hey man. You probably already know what I’m gonna say. GREAT VID. Plus, I know the 757 is your favorite aircraft
Nice one Skylite! Hope DAL can keep these birds for a good while; will be sad to see em go.
Its still on my wishlist. Hope not.
This is the first night flight video I am watching (your videos content)
I appreciate it my friend!
Nice video.
Love to see the airport in the night.👍🏼👍🏼

Nice

I appreciate it my friend. Thanks!

My home airport it's alright it's getting better then it used to be but you got all sorts of aircraft airlines etc
Dylan Levy think it’s better than my home town airport JFK 🤷♂️😂
Were you flying a red-eye cross country flight in this video?
Yes. At least, half way across the country haha. This flight was a 12:20am departure to MSP.
This really gets to me but...Why do some planes make buzzing noises?

Well...mmm,I was actually asking,is there something in the fan blades that do make them make buzzing?
I really hope delta can retrofit the 757 cockpits like icelandair did with its 757s
Me too. I’d hate to see all the 757’s disappear.
Strangely enough Delta hasn't made that investment on their vast fleet. I'll ask my pilot buddies.
@@sla31 me too. Hope they will last for much longer.

lol. The description, "enroute to Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport (DFW)"
Hahaha. Copy and paste error. Fixed!
Once I get paid I’ll spend some of my money getting your merch.
Thanks man. I appreciate it!
Skylite Productions you deserve it!
That person in the parachute at 1:40 - skydiving at night near an airport .....smdh
Lol. It sure does look like someone with a parachute doesn’t it?
Microsoft fly simulator 2040 be like:
You need to fly the on the 777’s, they’re retiring.
You’re right. I do. I’m waiting to see what the last flight is going to be.
@@sla31 Not good, at least with the MD90 it has a little cousin, but I loved the 777, and this makes me very angry

Hi
The 757 deserves a better fate....properly powered from her air frame. the 737s - especially the new ones - lack the power and more spacious interior.
