In concerts where they sing many songs during the entire program, it causes vocal fatigue so they try to maybe change the key, or replace it with some vocal ornaments to avoid strains. But I know what you mean. With Lea, she is a trained broadway singer who if you will notice is different from pop singers like let's say, Celine Dion. In broadway singing, they are not allowed to change the way it was written on a music piece. They must stick to it because it is what it is but, in pop singing, they can freely change the way they want it. Lea is an excellent singer. She is a lyric soprano which is suitable for her style of music. I saw her live concert in O2 Arena in London a while back during the Les Miserables anniversary concert and her voice was clear and crisp. 😉😉
Another beautiful touching performance by Lea Salonga. That voice is just angelic. What makes Lea special, is that she becomes the song she sings, which very few singers have the ability to do. That makes her a unique Artist. That was a stunning performance. This Tour has been a very memorable one for IL Divo, having this very special woman/singer on Tour with them.
