After the 1st laser, it's as if all hell breaks loose though, I've never played it but watched videos and jeez, the level looks HARD, even the way without gems and mystery boxes
This feels like the embodiment of "yes we already ran out of ideas so here's this abomination to keep you quiet for the meantime". No soul or anything is put into the level whatsoever, this level amplifies everything bad about dinosaur valley but tenfold. some parts are nice, but I stand my point

and honestly, I can easily think of places to improve, like only keeping the actually unique and challenging gems, removing all the easy mystery boxes, making it use standard crowns, rework the repetitive parts and smoothing out the difficulty.
I used to be like this aswell, trust me I perfected the level and its not all that bad now. I think i just hated on it because I didnt like it and i thought it was too hard. I still dont believe this is a 4 star, though😅
My 2nd favorite 4 star level behind Interstellar Leap. The routes are creative,the placements are amazing,the creative routes repeat overall I love this level 🎉
There are so many things wrong with this level. Here are the reasons why. 1. The title is called “Dino Disco” which is named after its BGM called “Dino Disco” by F-777. They could have named it Prehistoric Planet, Meteorite Impact, Geological Period, or EVEN just Jurassic. But no, they had to use Dino Disco, like seriously, naming a level after the song is just plain lazy. The same goes for Successful Person and Tropical Tides. I am not counting the removed levels as they are special EDM levels by Alan Walker and Marshmello plus they even have lyrics to the song as well. So the level title is very lazy. Let me know if you agree. 2. The Gameplay! While I play the level, It almost looks like it was made by an 8-year old who doesn’t even know how to make a perfect gameplay. It’s equivalent to Goblin Town but very worse. They put gems in unnecessary places. Why don’t you all look at the pterodactyl part to prove I ain’t lying. 61-65 percent is unnecessary. There are so many repeated parts, 47-51 is impossible to sight read if it’s your first time playing this level. Once again the 6 gems at 23-31 Half using the Pterodactyl power up which is repeated and the other half using the sliders which are also repeated are super unnecessary. 0-4, 42-46, and 61-65 percent are repeating parts of the level. The entirety of the level is CLUTTERED with obstacles and collectibles and way too much one by one glass tiles which is making this level so ugly. 3. The length of the level. Ok so why can’t they just shorten the song and not use the entirety of it. Like most F-777 songs and other artists songs too, the songs are shortened. And also, the length is way to long to be considered a bonus. Bonus levels are usually between one to two minutes or two minutes and fifteen seconds. This level’s length is almost three minutes long. 4. The music is alright but I’d prefer Dinosaur Valley in terms of not only the music but everything else as well. For those who think Dino Disco is better than Dinosaur Valley. Opinion handled. In fact, I don’t hate the level in any way. But it feels pretty awkward having a three minute long bonus level with pretty unbalanced routing and having the full song instead of shortening it a little bit. Once again I have no hate to this level, I love all of them as well as the removed levels. Anymore I missed, please tell me. Edit: This level should be 5 star, not 4 star

In my opinion this is 4 in a half stars
There are so many things wrong with this level. Here are the reasons why.

It worked for AJR, Lov-E and Horizon Cruise, but they kind of took it TOO far in dino disco and interstellar leap, its fun to play but the quality is not as good as I thought it would be. I'm not trying to be rude to the developers, it's just my opinion, Minimax should stop taking messy routes too far, instead they should do something like Lov-E or AJR, in both of which there was a balance of messiness and creativity. In both of the levels you could see the effort, the soul, the amount of time they put in it, in dino disco theres also seen effort, but mixed with messiness... I just wish they could continue making ajr-styled levels that don't go too far, that are messy but not messy to the point it feels weird.
If i could rate this level, it would be a 6.9/10, honestly and without any hate. I'm sorry if the developers will find this as a hateful comment, *but I promise, I mean nothing in that sense.*
