Thank you for providing this new education source! I have created some patterns for my own use but am anxious to learn more. Also, I would love to do more custom quilting and this will be a helpful tool. I love the title "Node Nerds." Mostly I would like to learn tips for custom quilting, combining patterns, ...anything to do with advanced computerized quilting!
I'm excited about this new channel! I met Vida and Kat on last year's QWC tour and loved my time there. I've signed up for this year's tour session already too. Anyway, I would love to learn how to digitize my own patterns. I doubt it's something I'd do all the time, but I would love the option so I can create consistency with my own patterns, not just modified existing patterns which I already do. My hand guided work is not nearly as consistent as I'd like. The Statler gets me that consistency. Now to get my patterns onto the Statler ... And thanks for reminding me about how to click backwards on the toolbar when you overshoot your function. 🙂
Hi Nancy, to change the name of your quilt groups, double click on the current name in the quilt group tab. When you do so the tab turns blueish and you can change the name by deleting the current text and typing in the name you want. :)
Happy to have another source of education from Gammill/Statler and the Educators! I can attest that four of these peeps are indeed fun- having met those four! Looking forward to meeting the others in person as well.
I met Lisa, Dewayne and Vida in Big Sky MT at QWC. I am excited about this new forum. I am curious if this is just for Creative Studio questions/function or any aspect of LA quilting?
Excellent question, we will be talking about all things computerized quilting and if you have a specific question in regards to long arm quilting, please let us know and we’ll do the best we can to answer it 😊

Are you taking the advanced computerized classes for this year‘s tour? in the advanced track we talk a lot about creating your own patterns. 😊
I’m interested in how you change the name of your quilt groups as you mentioned
