- On a recent hike up to 12,700' elevation, I stopped at this location to take in the view and snapped some photographs. This was the video I took while hanging out at this location, with the perfect blend of sunshine & rain this wildflower season is pretty amazing in the Colorado Rockies.

I grew up in Colorado. I miss it.
I lived here 19 years, and had to move away. Colorado will always be my home and i'll make it back one day, thank you for this video.

Wow, I like what I'm seeing here and I'm so impressed. I mean, This is a paradise on earth, These flowers are beautiful, There are big mountains, The mountains are high and It's amazing to see those mountains in this place. The birds are flying in the sky, The sky is clear and It's a beautiful day outside. Yo! We all live on planet earth and There are many beautiful places on this planet and This is one of them. I was born and raised in the mountains of Colorado, this video is like hearing my childhood again, thank you, makes me homesick !
Me too, and longing to return. I was at the base of the mountains, but we camped all the time, sometimes in campsites and sometimes off by ourselves. I lived about 8 months in the mountains, chopping kindling and encountering Elk and Deer, hearing the breeze in the tops of the Pines and Aspen. I have never felt at home, anywhere else.😭*suffering in the Deep South💀
This is absolutely gorgeous. Makes me astonished that i handled 20 years of my life in Texas before seeing these incredible Mountains. Sigh. Houston is hell.
I had to move to the south after the state started to turn over politically. I listen to this to recapture it all. Sad to say this is only a quarter of it. It can't capture the crunch of pine needles and cones, as well as the dry dirt underneath your feet, the cool breeze hitting your neck, the smell of the forests.
I miss it.
Pretty crazy you would move for that reason? Life is way to short to let a handful of people to control your life, it’s your life and no ones else, and whoever put those ideas in your head that politicians are king, all I can say is run away from those people fast! Take care and start living your life!
@@ExplorationAdventures if we didn't move there's a large possibility I would be taken away by my family because of homeschooling, so I'd say it was worth it overall. I've found better friends I can call brothers here and an amazing church that feels like family.
I agree 100%. The crisp morning air. I grew up on the Western Slope. Delta, Montrose area. Wish it was like I remember it. Nothing is the same any more. I went back two years ago and it was surreal.
