Really! I did not know that. I thought it was just a symbol he was using to imply any type of product. That adds some good context to why he used sea shell's. Thank you.
Ren performed Money Game 2 at the Sky Arts Awards. Even though he was clearly sick & unwell he still killed it. As you notice about Rens Music he's militantly against greed. As he once said once our basic needs are met, it's not survival of the fittest but of those willing to co-operate. Shell Oil started off selling shells.
It takes courage, conviction, and personal integrity to step away from the game. If not, it will destroy you to the point of not recognizing the person staring back at you in the mirror. You will loathe that person you see. 🫥
Change starts with you and your everyday choices and interactions. Be conscientious of your choices and how it impacts or feeds into those systems. If there is another route available you that is actually feasible (ie. will not pit you in physical/financial/psychological danger) take it even if it's a little less convenient, a little more expensive, etc. We created this mess with our choices so we can sure as heck take responsibility for it and work toward something different that will hopefully be better but it starts with choosing to do better. Actively look for information on the people and things asking for your vote. And absolutely do vote, each and every election counts, especially the local ones that directly impact you but most people ignore. Also, ignore the haters... but at least their comments help with the algorithm so... 🤷🏻♀️
I've seen quite a few reactions to this trilogy and I remember everyone agreeing with the message but you may be the first to ask "well what's the solution?" I'm not a political scientist by any means, but the first thing I would do is make lobbying illegal. No company or organization should be able to buy their way into our government. Also, anyone holding political office should not be allowed to game the stock market. It's the definition of insider trading. But wtf do I know? I'm just a cog that immediately gets reprimanded when I step outta line. In the immortal words of George Carlin, it's a big club and you ain't in it. 😡🦇😡🦇😡
This turned into a long one! The problem is (at the moment) that persuading elected representatives who *Benefit* from a system, but would be required to vote that system OUT of existence will be "challenging" (Did nobody see the problem? I suspect George did) You will also have a VERY hard time inducting "new blood" into "The Club" when new entrants are vetted by those already in "management" of "The Club".... and who are the main beneficiaries. Then IF a number of new members DO make it through the door, they must not only hope sufficient numbers joint them, but that number RETAINS the ideals, integrity and fortitude which drove them to embark on the path. NOT likely. . Here's where we get "controversial" How to say this without "saying" it? As I've said elsewhere, there IS a system which has proven successful while aiming to benefit "The many" rather than "The few" and that system IS gathering support while driving representatives of what some might say is the "Failing" system to suggest violence as a means to restore *Their* position.... We're looking at the analogy of a "Schoolyard Bully" with a "Big Stick" being confronted by the rest of the school. The questions, Will the "Bully" lash out, or *rapidly* develop a pragmatic attitude? Or (and) Would the majority accept the Bully into THEIR collective (With VERY strict conditions..... no stick being one) AND Will the newly pragmatic(?) Bully accept without a fight? Then we must consider position of the reducing number of "friends" the Bully has.... and is currently threatening(!) There are signs that these friends are rightly "considering their own position" and can see little, if any advantage in remaining where they are. A conciliatory offer from "The new Club" (Even WITH conditions) which I believe will be tabled soon, is going to seem "attractive", and potentially their only way out. This would probably be the best, most peaceful solution(?) . The Bully must realise that even if they remove some of those confronting them, they will NOT be "in the new Club" and will NOT benefit from their actions. They can eventually share the collective "School Lunch" or go hungry. . Convoluted, but I think close enough?
You ask, what do we do about it ? Maybe stop wearing a logo branded hat on your head ? Maybe stop wearing a hat when your inside a building ? Maybe stop spending so much time trying to architecture the hair that grows on your face ? ....... We need to go back to the beginning, we were all born Atheist, the first thing we are sold in life is a God, the moment we stop selling that to 3/4 year olds, is the moment we start to do something about it ........
You're not mooching. You're sharing your discovery of Ren, and we love it. Do you.

You, my friend just quoted one of my favorite all-time comics. George would lose his mind in today's world. Thank you for that. Much ❤️
@@GEn-XReactions all hail George! He was trying to warn us decades ago. I wish more of us had listened 😟🦇😟
