hey Taco on day 8, take a nap, spend some time in the hammock. For 12 and 20 gauge i have had a luck with fortune cookie 45lc slug data with the 7/8 and lyman 325 or 525, i shot the lyman 525 in zinc - the load with only a gas wad + filler wad landed sideways, but the wads with the petals cut off shot fine, remember if you cast slugs and want to figure out if they are ok down your barrel, take the barrel off and try to push the slug+wad combo down your bore with a dowl, if you cannot push it down your bore it means it will over pressure and burst your barrel, typically 16-19 ish grains of 700x, 19-21 ish grains w. clays, unique, red dot etc. for 12 gauge, i really favor the BP 4100 lightning wad (windjammer clone) I have routinely failed to get any of my buckshot loads to pattern at all, like a 2 foot pattern at 25 but i am new to reloading buckshot
a nap sounds great! I may hit you up for some 12g loading tips in the future. Right now I am waiting for a bunch of 12 g materials to arrive from BP. Hopefully with all the stuff I have ordered, I can at least load up a few different loads.
I was listening to this on the way home, then I had to rewatch to see the shotgun furniture. I love the walnut! I ended up not doing shot gun reloading after finding how much was the involved. I look forward to watching your path forward on this.
have you come up with a good recipe for .458 lead? i got my NOE 459 that you recommended. about to get ready to start smelting down some lead and mix up projectiles :) Adulting is never a smooth road :) glad your health is good and you are doing good though. My Brother brought me from his stint in Iraq a Hugla 12 Gauge about 20 years ago and it has been a great tool.
just checked it out have sit down and put up some of my loads. Do not have a chrono so only can gice data from quick loads as far as fps goes@@FullLeadTaco
Lol was wondering if people would notice... Playing basketball with my son and his friends--collision of my nose with my son's shoulder. I got a double bloody nose, but no break as far as I can tell 🤣

Thanks for the update. Do what you can when you can no worries

I don’t like pistol grips on a shotgun either. 😂 What did Gunnies want for those primers? 😂

Looking forward to see the new shotguns you got :-))
Will any of this be on Rumble ??
everything that is posted here should also get posted to rumble, still don't have enough subs on rumble to start making exclusive content over there
