Great tips Pete. I also use Calendly and Zapier but trying to get into the habit of using Microsoft Todo and Planner. With the new boards in Microsoft Calendar it’s covering my productive needs and they are improving all the time. Plus of course all under M365 subscription.

Forgot to mention I also treat email like physical mail in that I check it twice per day and set aside time to reply (if needed), archive or delete it each day so that I can follow the Inbox Zero process. It took me several attempts to get the process down but once I did it was a game changer as email sucks up so much time.
I also disable pretty much every notification I can on both my computer and my phone to prevent distraction. If something is urgent I tell people to do this weird old fashioned thing and call me 😁

My life is run by Things 3. I don't know if I could function without it anymore 😆I follow the GTD (Getting Things Done) method which works great for me. I also follow the 2 minute rule in that if I can do it in two minutes I "just do it" rather than plan to do it later.
However the biggest productivity gain I ever made was time boxing a single task rather than trying to multitask. When I was younger I thought multitasking was the best thing ever but I realised it is a fools errand. Firstly I've never met someone who can actually multitask. I have met (very few!) people who are quite good at rapid context switching but not true multitasking. And even for those few people who were quite good at context switching I found tasks actually took longer to complete than if tackled separately.
I make less mistakes with time boxing a single task (so less rework) and I could estimate (and so allocate) time much better. As I took on more responsibilities I found concentrating on one task at a time also made it much easier to "let go" and delegate a task as well. So yes don't fall into the multitasking trap!
I watch a lot of the "productivity gurus" on RUclips but imho very few offer anything new. They all basically just repeat what David Allen says in Getting Things Done 🙃
One tip from me for anyone who works in a technical/knowledge worker job is make sure you have a good notes system. OneNote, Evernote, Notion, Simplenote, whatever you like just make sure you learn how to use the systems tagging and search features so you reduce the "learn, do, forget, relearn" cycle we often find ourselves in. Don't bother with formatting it all pretty with Markdown just dump the information and tag it properly so you can find it again in an instant.

When you have an android device with Mac devices, I recommend Any.do, and syncing your Apple calendar with google calendar so that it syncs across multi platforms. It syncs Apple calendar and reminders app together on one screen, and syncs to your android device too, as long as calendars are synced.

I have a couple apple devices, but I do use google calendar primarily since it’s available anywhere, and use that calendar in fantastical. So it doesn’t matter which app I use

An excellent alternative to Todoist is Things 3 (Mac/iOS only though). It is a fixed price which I prefer over a subscription personally as well. Microsoft Todo is very decent as a free alternative as well.

My favorite productivity app so far is the Connecteam App, from my to-do list, task management, team scheduling, and team communication, this app helps me.
