when you wrap the silver side of the shell can you make a video on it, as i have am curious to see if you do it in one piece so split it, as its shape causes alot of waste
Very nice setup and color! I'm playing with the idea of wrapping my car, one by one piece by piece. It would look quite stupid for a while, but the shops asks for 2000+ for the whole car which I don't have just for vanity. What would you say, how long does it take to wrap the whole car? Or the bigger panels, how many hours? Thank you
Thank you! I appreciate it! If you've never wrapped before, you will need to take your time. I've wrapped other cars and motorcycles. It took a while for me to get decent at it. Mistakes come from using too much heat, or not enough heat. Also, make sure you use a quality brand name vinyl, such as Oracal (used on this car) Avery, KPMF or 3M. The reason shops charge so much is because they have been trained and offer a warranty if the wrap fails.
@@ROBSOLUTELY Thank you for the fast reply :) I apperciate good workmanship and I gladly pay my mechanic, I just cannot justify forking out so much money for vanity which will slowly get damaged anyway. I watched hours of wrapping videos, usually I'm really good in detailed stuff, I just need to take the leap and try it. I'm also looking for a good replacement for the Bosch Highline, but I cannot find the Dual brand in Europe. Oh do you happen to know how many or which length of wrap to buy for the whole car?

I plan to wrap it in one-piece, but you are right, it will leave a lot of extra. I typically save the large extra pieces for other projects.
