Wow! What an appropriate message for our family today even though you spoke it a couple weeks ago. Our son, Mark, is moving to Indiana. We have run into complications with his job, car and finding a place to live. Most things have been resolved, but still unable to find an apartment. He does have a place in my niece's basement but probably not for long term. This was a great reminder to trust God and not worry. Just put the plans in His hands and wait for His answer.
I'm so glad it was a timely word. It really is such a reassurance to remember God is fully in control, even if it can feel frustrating and confusing sometimes when it seems like nothing it working out! I've been thinking about Psalm 23 a lot lately (watch this space for videos 😅), but I love the part that says "He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake." He's guiding us not only for our own good, but also for the sake of the glorious Name that is above every other name; he's so invested in guiding us along the right path that he's guaranteeing it with his name. That's a glorious truth I've been hanging onto lately - I've done nothing to deserve it, but he'll keep leading me in the right way regardless. What a good God!
