Clausen and his singers must have been trained in Heaven and sent here as a hint of what we can expect, given forgiveness and hope. Jesus, we love you, we praise you now, and going forward. And thank you for Gretchaninoff.
Better than any national anthem, singing praise to God! Lovely! Beautiful! Brilliant! People need to listen to his works and also Jadassohn, Rudolph Simonsen, Draeseke; not just the grandmasters!
Such a beautiful piece so well performed by such an amazing choir. My high school choir performed this during our Christmas concert December 1967. The memory of that performance endures. Our director was a graduate of Concordia Moorhead, having studied under Paul Christiansen. What wonderful days those were.
So wonderful to hear and "participate" from afar. Great to have the different video perspective and see so many lifelong choir friends, faculty, and Cobber family celebrating the legacy that Dr. Clausen has given and continues to provide.

I can only imagine how this sounded in the same space. It’s incredible on my cell phone.
Being in the bass section of this was incredible to experience.
Is there anything so lovely?
Clausen's hands are riveting. So expressive.
How stunning!
