My buddy has a 2011 Colorado on a 4 inch Skyjacker with a 1.5 inch body lift. Its on 33's, and get no more than 10 MPG. Its a beast for how small of a truck it is!

That's a stunning truck I must say! I am working on one myself it's an 06 with a 3 inch lift kit, 33 inch Nitto Mud Grapplers and Fuel 15 inch Lethal wheels. That's all I have done so far!

i have a 2012 colorado z71 4x4, today i put in a 2.5” rough country lift and 2” wheel spacers. everything exterior wise is stock for now. i have my eyes on black fender flares, a black grill, and a set of moto metal wheels.
So it never gets dirty. The only badges are on my fenders. Mines a 09 and I have a problem with it wanting to launch at traffic lights. I drive on ( 3 miles ) gravel , through a low water ( on my property ) crossing daily. I certainly wish I could keep mine that clean. Very nice looking truck. Only thing it needs is a engine.
That's a monster right there. I never really liked the previous gen Colorados but you changed my opinion.
I think this is the best looking generation with the quad headlights, it's my favorite looking pick up truck actually, after the Toyota sr5

That's a nice Colorado. I have a 2012 LT1 4x4 Crew Cab not lifted but going to do a 2 inch rear lift ans a front torsion bar adjustment with locks then add some nice shocks. Throw a Cold Air Intake on and she's good to go. With stock size Hankook ATM RF10's I get about 81/2 inches of clearance with the air dam on. I find I get great control on mountain roads going to the 4WD drive areas. So don't need as much of a lift. Love the way the I5 makes power. Anyone who says they are underpowered hasn't driven one or doesn't realize what a DOHC is. Plus go try to buy a certified Toyota with 21,000 Miles on it for $25,800 out the door including financing. They can't is the simple answer. I like to laugh at them with my truck covered in mud and red dirt from The Sierras while they drive a shiny $38,000 truck in the flatlands that's never seen a dirt road.. Nice truck Chevy # 1

How's the MPG? I have a 2008 colorado with the 3.7 with a 3 inch shackle and torsion lift on 31x10.50 with -22 offset Mickey thompsons. Wondering how much a 1.5 inch body lift and 33s would change my mileage. I'm getting about 15 in the city (mostly west virginia hills) and 19.5 on the highway

Hey! So i see you have 33” tires, now i’ve asked around on the forums and what not and i’m doing a 2-3 inch leveling kit and a 3-4 inch body lift, some are saying I can’t go any higher than a 32” but what’s your experience? Any rubbing? does it work fine?
I have a single cab 2wd one of these trucks but it has coil springs on the front. Did this have coils before but you switched to torsion’s or did it always have torsions??

Do the front tires rub the steel body mounts with 12" tires? mine occasionally rub the air dam. Also mine spends a lot more time in 3rd after the lift with the I5 engine

Mine has 7 inches of lift with 34x10.5x20 wheels. I noticed it spends a lot more time in 3rd gear. the 5 cylinder has loads of power. what gears are you running?

Aaron Tiny what is the gap size between the truck frame and body with the 1.5'' SuspensionMaxx body lift? I live in Hawaii and want to install the body lift but it is illegal to have a 3'' or more gap between the frame and the body. Sick truck by the way, i want to make my colorado the same. Mahalo
Gap is only 1.5 inches. They provide covers for the gap as well but i never put them on.

Bro great job you truck is nasty!!!! I did watch the whole video but still have some questions. Did you have to do all that to fit the 33’s or did you do all of it just to get the most aggressive look. I just want to be able to have 33 clear and not rub. Is there anything I can leave out so it’s not so jacked up!
P.s you forgot to put in the video you cut the bottom portion of the front bumper and took off the bottom lip if you had it!
Sid Phu yes that’s everything you need to do to make the 33s fit. However with less aggressive offset you could do less life. But if your looking at following my setup than I wouldn’t do any less lift. You could crank the torsion bars up farther than I did to try to save yourself from the body lift, but then it will ride worse.
