I also always suspected this. I do think Dru and DIana are actually his kids, because they look mixed black/hispanic. But Cane looks fully african american to me, and Lorenzo also seem to favour the younger two over Cane. I have two theories on Cane that could completely change the character: 1. That he is Kanans father - Kanan was a ladies man back in the day and Cane is the arch enemy of Tariq the same way Kanan is the arch enemy of Ghost. So imagine this is essentially a generational war. When Kanan died it was said he had no known living relatives. The keyword here is KNOWN. Kana doesn't exactly seem like the fatherly type so he could've easily have had more kids he was either unaware of or never formally acknowledged as his on paper, hence why they were never contacted at the time of his death. I also have a feeling Effie could be Kanans daughter. 2. That he is actually an orphan, probably the baby of some drug dealer that Monet & Lorenzo killed back in the day, but as they did not want to kill a child, they instead took him in so they could MOLD him as a street soldier. This is also why they treat him as expendable.

I can agree with the Lorenzo theory bc even though Cane was the muscle, Lorenzo always felt that Dru was next in line to take over….probably because he knew Dru was his real/only son 🤔

Cane mentioning to Mecca he doesn't know the type of relationship him and Lorenzo has, referring to Cane telling Mecca was always suspect to me when I heard it. I believe Lorenzo did something to Cane when he was younger and Monet stepped up for Cane at that moment being why Cane is so close to Monet with him being a momma's boy like Dru calls him.
Remember when Tommy & Ghost kicked Sax's door in? Ghost saved his life and in return Ghost used him for faking his death but knowing Cooper he recorded it on his phone then put it on the flash drive just in case he got killed. Sax was smart, think about it. Sax had to know either Ghost was going to kill him or Tommy and Sax knew who to send it to! Anya is also clearly not mixed race, she might actually be Obies daughter. But this could be done on purpose to find out that neither of these are actually the child of their supposed fathers.

And that he died in a robbery gone wrong what she was TOLD. Which would also put her in the same cathegory as Tariq in the sense she's been lied to. Or she may be a niece or something of Felipe Lobos. Both of these theories would give her a sold motif for revenge.

In season 6 episode 14 after the shooting, Tariq made saxe aware that he saw him at truth that night.. Saxe likely knew that Tarique shot Ghost but he didn't want to risk his job by having Tariq expose him..

In the season 4 premiere Agent Young aka JR talks to Bianca about Saxes flash drive. On the drive was evidence connecting Tate & Tariq about how they helped Obi get the green cards. Which is disappointing because I expected something more important on the drive

I believe before the show was cancelled they probably had a better storyline for the drive but after they heard the news they changed it to made it some simple and easy to write up.
