I definitely hear you. But I'm worried we strike out in free agency and Wendell is out again and boom now we have to start Mo or JI at center.

Philip, I agree with you on the center position in this draft. However, if they strike out in free agency and fail to bring Goga back, Yves Missi should be the pick, in my opinion. He may not be ready, but he may be the future center we need with his rebounding and rim protection.

Man, I’ve listen to you for long enough now to know that you know what you’re talking about sometimes but this sleep in heat for Zach. Edey blows my mind it is unbelievable to me how a squad like ours. That’s predicated on size and length would continue to stay under sized at the center position with the guy like Victor in the league at seven for four and you can get a beast like Edie to ring protect, and a hold down the paint and get bored and you act like he’s chop liver. It blows my mind.

he doesnt run well and doesnt shoot, that doesnt work in the modern league. no nba team is gonna waste a shot clock to get him a hook shot lol

@@nahyoulyin we need a paint presence he doesn’t need to run the break but this post season Cleveland dominated us in the paint and he move well enough to be a solid defender and just bc he didn’t shoot in college doesn’t mean he can’t shoot he looked good at his pro day he’s going to be a good player in this league and it’s sad that an obvious lottery guy won’t be picked where he deserves bc some narrative

@@goldenRobot712 because our bread and butter isn't in the length and size but its in the versatility to switch and disruptive defense that creates TOs and easy offense. Can zach edey hedge in pick and roll defense and get back in time to contest the shot? Can he be that weak side defender that met the offense at the rim from weak side corner in time? Yes he's crazy talented and worthy of a lottery pick. But this playoff proves that the derek lively, jarrett allen, daniel gafford, isaiah hartenstein's archetype of a center can provide as much if not more value to team success. I see more value in kel'el ware from day 1 rather than edey. just my personal opinion

Imagine we grab teammates Simpson and DaSilva with our 2 picks! I'd be cool with that

Philip, after hearing your comments about finding a third center, do you think it’s unlikely that they’ll be in on Claxton or Hartenstein? Is it possible to afford one of those guys and still sign a starting caliber PG? Thanks, love the channel.

I think the expense is going to be pretty high. It would not surprise me if they go after Hartenstein.

If we sign Claxton and bring in a starting PG (Not Tyus Jones), the PG would probably come in as a trade.
