It’s perfect for the studio and small gigs but when I want more soundpressure I connect the balanced XLR to an extra Markbass set. You are getting the same tone but seriously louder👍
Similar here, but PF-20T for studio & practice, or mic'd at small gig. For larger gigs, paired with the Ampeg Micro-VR. And two SVT210AV cabs. Or it works well as a monitor amp / mic'd amp with parallel DI for sub bass when paired. With the SVT210 pair stacked if you stand close to it, it's near ear level and has plenty of midrange.
This amp is legit! I just got one in San Antonio on Clearance and it rules. Sounds perfect just like my PF 800 but way warmer and brighter. Can't really tell a difference from my old svt actually too. Great amp. Buy one now!!!
Remember kids, a third of your tone comes from your hands, and another third comes from your pickups. Because this demo sounds good, doesnt mean youll sound exactly like that.
God the slap shit is so old why does everyone slap when trying out these amps it sounds thin and tinny the amp is capable of so much more play that damn thing turn up the bass for god sake
By all means GC don't demo these with a normal PBass or Jazz, make sure to plug in an completely contemporary active bass with its own horse-pucky preamp and goofy pickups. Jeez...
A total waste of time. Made in China. In real RMS terms the perceived output doesn't come near my 6w class A valve amp. No depth of tone and breaking up way too early in the gain structure. The mains hum was dominant and disconcerting in the studio. It simply would not cut in any gig with drums. Simply unpowered, shallow and noisy I connected to an Ampeg PF115HE portaflex cab. V disappointed
I must just be old school but I really dislike the concept of the " gain" control. I want grit I'll turn up the amp or use a pedal. The gain control just seems to take away from the ability to have a loud and clean sound.
Bob Strete all ampegs have a gain control its important for gain staging there is huge different in gain between an active bass and a jazz bass. What you are annoyed at is a master volume (which turns down the volume of the output) just run it full up if you want clean.

thank you..I'm sold!
There's one on Amazon and As a bassist who's first starting gigging if I hook it up to the 200W cabinet will ti sound as 50W or the 200 cabinet W
That’s a great match but make sure you match the impedances!
All the solid state pf have six in and phones out. Why doesn't this?
Can this handle KT88 Power Tubes?
No. This is an amplifier designed for two 6l6.
i run mine into a revsound rs115 and it is LOUD

@Whitaker's World or behringer xd
The hum problem has been fixed in newer production, and can be fixed in older ones.
So.... is that clipping we are hearing from the amp or it that crappy mic being over driven?
