I've been looking at the Can Cooker on several websites where it is sold. I'm confused about the interior surface. Some say it has a hardened anodized surface. It is anodized or is it teflon? Thanks for any info!
THATS A DEAL BREAKER FOR ME. TEFLON IS UNHEALTHY, ONCE IT SECREETS INSIDE THE BODY, IT CAN NEVER BE REMOVED. UNLESS THEY COME UP WITH A HEALTHIER COATING, I WONT BUY. I WAS GOING TO GET CHRISTMAS GIFTS., NOT NOW. 😢
Was wondering the same and came up with you can't put your electric crock pot on an open flame or campfire. I can see myself using it camping. At home I would probably use my crock pot or instapot.
@@trailwatcher5 it's a pot, with a lid, if you sealed and latched the lid tight, and drilled a small hole in the lid for steam and pressure to escape....then it's a camp pot and lid with slight pressure cooker steamer. Try and and see
you lock the lid down to only let steam escape from the hole. this restriction allows for more steam to be heated faster and be hotter to cook the food more evenly that just whats on the burner. this an old way of cooking large amounts fast in cream cans reinvented with the cancooker. thats why the cancooker has that shape. they would punch a hole in the lid as well.
*It would be great if they mad a small one person size cooker*
Do you have to SPRAY it every time you use it?
Wouldn’t a pressure cooker with the “wobbler” on top removed do the same thing?
Faster
Is it made with aluminum?
Looks like a good product
Thanks! This makes cooking extremely easy!
I know this is from three years ago,but damn where was i.
I'm about to pull the trigger on the Van Cooker Jr. It's on sale right now.

I just don't get it... healthier food in a non stick coating pot???? Why do you have to add a chemical coating????
Potatoes should go on the bottom. Meat on top.
What am I missing? This looks like it wold cook just like my electric crock pot?

Is a low pressure cooker, very different than a crock pot.
What am I missing here? This is a pot with a lid. What's the big deal??
Maybe great for camping
Actually is a low pressure cooker not a simple pot with a lid.
@@carmenmartinez2882 you go on believing that but it's a pot with a lid.

Looks cheap. Can you put it in The fire
Is there a pressure escape valve or some kind of hole there? What’s the locking latches are for?
