Fair play mate, from the day I sold her I've been dying to see her finished you've done a top job and she sounds smoother than ever before, nice to know she's being looked after. Enjoy.
Nice one, Thanks very much. 👍👍👍😎😎 Has taken a lot longer than i thought it would but took months to fix my SAAB when i snapped the cambelt, well siezed water pump stripped the belt. 😟😟😟😟 Steve in video stripped it and got all nuts bolts fasteners zinc coated, i did the plastics repair work and paint, sorted out brakes. We are getting the Ducati as our next project. How is your car resto going, was it a Vauxhall Astra, i cant remember. 👍👍👍👍 Thanks, Vinny. 👍👍👍
@vazza7504 never just the one thing to work on haha, and vauxhall nova it was bud it's all build up and running ready for mot but wrong time of the year for that so it'll be sitting again for a while yet
@retrocarenthusiast9397 Are you planning on any engine mods? C20XE or C20LET Turbo. 😎😎😎😎 Boss car those Nova's. You can get some great power gains with sports inlet manifold, Lexmaul I think, sports cams, sports air filter, standard fit in airbox, nice cool air, getting rare now, keeping it standard would be brilliant too. Was in our GSI cavalier on east Lancashire Road heading back to Liverpool back in the day. A Vauxhall Nova came past us by the gamebird pub, he started to open it up as he entered the roundabout at the junction for Rainford, he floored it as he came off roundabout to head for Liverpool, I wished I could have caught up with him, no chance, 😲😲😲😲🚗 that Nova was gone!!!!! Am sure that it must have had a C20LET Turbo conversion and tuned up too. 😲😲😲🙂🙂🙂🙂 Seriously quick Nova. 🙂🙂🙂🙂😎😎😎😎🚗🚗🚗🚗
@vazza7504 taken it from a 1.2spi to a 1.6mpi from the gte, high lift cam better fuel system to run, stainless centre back exhaust 4-2-1 manifold ect, all the bits just to get the last few horses out of her, she's definitely a nippy bugger on the test route it left my 5series behind 🤣
