Man, I love Blue October, and I love watching reaction videos to their songs. This is definitely one of my favourite reactions of all time. You said some things that really made me think, things that I needed to hear. That life passes so quickly when you're in a dark space, and, you know, you think about it subconsciously, but to hear you say it made me realise how many years of my life just went by without me realising it. And I don't want that anymore. Thank you for what you said. Thank you for really listening to their music and not just do some kinda-sorta listen and give some kinda-sorta reaction to it. This band's music is a rabbit hole worth going down. Sincere thanks.
I never even heard of Justin furstenfeld and Blue October until I stumbled upon their song Hate Me, that was about three years ago and I didn't know at that time Just how much I would need his music .. my husband died last Aug 2021 suddenly and unexpectedly, he was 47 .. the thing is I don't think it was I who found him , I think it was Justin who found me .. *Find the song Blue October original live acoustic "Stay with me" , Justin sings
Justin had AA/ hang out withJustin Tuesdsy nights throughout the lockdown. He tours by himself and does a show called OPEN BOOK, a night with Justin Furstenfeld. He tells his story. He's a wonderful Storyteller and he's pretty funny. He is one that has always been in love with being in love. Great reaction. This made my day. ☮☯️💙 he does a great cover of Lady in Red too.
I was fortunate to be able to attend one of the Open Book acoustic evenings with Justin in 2014. I had lost my big sister to cancer not too long before. She was part of the Blue Fam, too. After the show, Justin was kind enough to stick around and sign some autographs and say hello to those that wanted to. I bought his book while there and, while trying not to completely break down, I asked if he could sign it to my sister and told him she recently left us. He did and left a very sweet message and then he shook my hand. I can't describe that handshake with words but, somehow, somehow! This incredible man put all the emotion from this song into that handshake. It's been my fight song ever since. Thank you for covering this song so respectfully.
@@douluvsit I saw it in El Paso, TX. It was incredible. I mean, every Blue show is, of course, but this one just hit differently. I'm so glad you got to see it, too!
I don't know how I missed your original comment (so sorry)! That's such a sweet story. I'm sorry for the loss of your sister. It makes me happy that we still have compassionate celebrities out there. And he seems like a genuinely cool dude. I saw their film, but had no idea he wrote a book. I'll have to get the audiobook to listen to at work. Thank you!
It's so easy to follow Jusin's life from the foiled til now. When they gave out the first album i was in a dark place and it got better when life got better for Justin. Kinda perfect lol. Still love their old music. Now there are different songs for different moods 😊
He has an acoustic album called Ugly Side: An acoustic evening with Blue October. Also on their yt he had many accoustic songs and also covers. This video is much appreciated and so awesome! Thank you 💙
I can't remember if I've asked if you would check out Yelawolf. He was at the Blue October concert I went to in Nashville hanging out with the guys. He had a new song drop this morning called JUMP OUT THE WINDOW Yelawolf and Shooter Jennings. I really enjoy DAYLIGHT and Dog House.
He does have a bit acoustic songs and albums. You can also find some stuff he did when we were in lockdown. You should also listen to Harvard of the south - “Decent” there is a video for it
@@NORSEVIKING I've been about 9 times just about everytime they have been in Nashville or close. My first concert I didn't know them and it was amazing and have gone ever since. 💙💙💙

This hits a nerve. Being damaged from childhood and then...good luck in your life...ouch. Love this. Great reaction too. 👌🏻

The open book concerts are the highlight of my Blue October experiences (we travel to see them, usually 2-5 hours)... so worth it

In an age of, digital, autotune, and lipsynk, we are so lucky to have Justin Furstinfeld.

React to their "The End", live in Texas. Seriously dark song. He was in a bad place and he's SO much better now.❤
I’m your Blue October fan!
Best concert you will ever go to💯💯💯💯
