All the pats, cookies, and scratches for Wy! He did so good! He's so smart. I wonder if he'll like dressage too to work his little brain in a different way.
Loved him that first time you worked him in the round pen. He is just so handy and those ears are back and he's cruising over those logs and ditches like the little champion he will be. Any horse would be lucky to be trained by you. 😉
First XC school? He did all that like it was nothing new. I mean he's a mustang. This is all manicured landscape with maintained footing. He has a truly experienced rider on board. That was all good. Super positive experience for Wy, who is making it look easy. Oh, cute!!! 7:57 Plenty o' cuteness!
Hey Elisa, I just want to say thank you for never shying away from the difficulties of horses training. My horse got stressed at a new barn and reared recently with another rider. She had never done anything like that before, and it was really disheartening. But to hear that Wy still occasionally gets stressed and misbehaves at 50 rides makes me feel so much better. It's good to see other people struggling and still coming out on top (literally 🤣) it reminds me to just keep moving past the rough patches, keep working hard, and we'll get there eventually.
He reminds me so much of my mustang Apache that is a 3yo and is from the same HMA as WY, he was my 2019 GA TIP challenge horse as well. They were rounded up at the same time! He reminds me of apache because he seems to really enjoy jumping and even looks like my boy! Great job with him
He has a lovely natural roundness to his jumps. He looks to be a great prospect for eventing. I think he would also make a good distance horse. He has what appears to be ground eating trot. Daydreaming on a rainy Sunday. Eton??.
He's such an interesting little horse. He's always had that feeling of confidence about jumping, like wanting to jump the big ball in hand. I love seeing his progress.❤️
I love seeing Wy doing so well. Wow, first time cross-country -- Wy's a great student with a great teacher. Extrapolating from your comments that the mustangs usually do well with Xcountry elements is probably because they already encountered things like ditches, banks, rivers/water in the wild and so aren't usually surprised by them. Something I'd never thought about before, but makes good sense when you point it out. Thanks so much for including these videos with the mustangs; they are my favorites. Always nice to see Wyn too -- mustang see mustang do -- you are such an amazing equestrienne.
Thanks for the video update. Great to see the horses back out on course and Majestic Oaks is a beautiful venue with super hosts. Just got back from watching schooling at Stable View and everyone did a good job knocking the rust off after the lay-up. Looking forward to seeing Wy at an event down the road.
Little buddy is getting better every day!❤ Smart little dude Oh! And a question, if I may. Since you're doing some cross country now, does that mean Wy is going to go to one or two events in the future, like Dorado did?
I LOVE watching all your videos and the progression of the horses. They all seem to really enjoy it! Are there some horses who just aren't "jumpers"- they really don't like it/can't do it?
I’ve always been a Wy fan... now even more! He’s a great little event mustang! I can’t remember...did you choose him or was he a blind draw? Either way, he’s a great fit for your program!
do you know wy’s breeding/bloodlines? he’s so gorgeous! i am a true fan of the mustangs, i have a spanish mustang named lakota, born from adena x gunrunner - she was the first full mustang to be bred in Europe! they are trustworthy horses, and when they find their person they’ll do anything. i really do love the mustangs 😊
Looking at your videos, I wish I could buy a mustang from you as my next horse. Sadly I live in north Europe, and I think the travelling would be unfair to the horse.
@@kadinaator I wouldn't know. I jusy don't think it's fair to the horse's psyche to send it that far when it is not used to travelling and has been living in wide open spaces. Then being "caged" in a tiny travel box for so long. It's different if the horse has travelled a lot and is used to it. But I don't think I would put it through that. Also, it would be insanely expensive, and since I'm not getting a horse to compete at a high level it is more sensible to find something close. But it would be a dream to get a horse from Eliza.
Not a jumper but really enjoying your videos. However I was wondering why you open your hands wide as you said?is it to give him more room or give him less of a chance to stop/turn away?
Thanks for explaining/confirming. I'm actually pretty proud of myself I kinda figured it out. Because as I said I have never done any jumping so sometimes I'm just like okay... but why though?
She actually mentioned in her 2016 Kentucky Five Star video (around the 3:40ish mark) that she keeps her hands wide to help the horse know where to go.
I've always been taught that you want to form a tunnel through your legs and your hands, and widening them can make things clearer for a green or spooky horse, and make it harder for them to run out.
He’s going to make such a smashing pony🥺🥺
All the pats, cookies, and scratches for Wy! He did so good! He's so smart. I wonder if he'll like dressage too to work his little brain in a different way.
Wy is the best! Love your training. No pressure, calm, and collected. I think he has a great jumping future ahead! Thanks!
I just love her attitude. Very matter-of-fact but you can tell how smart she is about doing the right things for all her horses.
You are such a calm, positive influence on the horses you ride. I love your videos!
Loved him that first time you worked him in the round pen. He is just so handy and those ears are back and he's cruising over those logs and ditches like the little champion he will be. Any horse would be lucky to be trained by you. 😉
Brave little Wy did a great job, so did you, Elisa!
He’s such a superstar! Hwin has grayed out so much!
OMG, he is so adorable!!! :) Great job Elisa!
Cute! I love that hes so calm and relaxed. It's clear he's had a goos start :)
It's really fun to see him understand it all. Love to see you working!! 😁
Lookin' good. Fun to see his figuring it out. From the start to where he is now.
Wy did so good! He learns very quickly.

I absolutely love how willing and confidence Wy has become! Such a wonderful little pony!
He is fast and he really has a good jump!
You both are amazing. Happy to see you and sweet, sweet WY.💕
Wow I don’t even recognize Hwin! She’s so beautiful and filled out
your horse is extremely beautiful i love it
PS: keep making videos you're really the best
I’ve honestly been in love with him since day one 🥺👉👈

Zapporah Mann absolutely. Training is a process and with the highs come the lows but they get there eventually.
So happy that Wyeth is back in the game! He’s a nice jumper!
Been off RUclips for a while. So nice to catch up on videos and Wy’s awesome progress!!❤️🍿
And that folks used to be a wild mustang from Wyoming. Amazing how far you have
taken him and how well he has acclimated.
Super! 🍀
He really seems to like it 🥰
Aww I love Wy! He tries so hard. You both did a great job!
WOW. Really happy that we get to see this with him. I was kind of hoping for it ever since you said he loved jumping.
Take care!
He's such a good boy!!!

I am glad he is such a quick learner. It is so nice to have good easy student horse.
I get so excited for ur new videoszzzz😂🤭🥺❤️💖

What a lovely little pony! Almost makes me wish we had mustangs in my country aha
Beautiful Wy!
I love Wy, and I'm so glad he's feeling better since his surgery. Love watching his progress! BUT Where's my favorite Chonky boy FLEDGE?!?!? hehe
Little buddy is getting better every day!❤ Smart little dude
Oh! And a question, if I may. Since you're doing some cross country now, does that mean Wy is going to go to one or two events in the future, like Dorado did?
That was awesome! Thank you for sharing your training methods.
Ah cool you went to Majestic oaks!! I’m supposed to go schooling there soon!
he is learning so quickly
Love this horse!!
🐴🐎
Wy is such a great mustang.
He's looking great!
Amazing little guy
I LOVE this!!!!!!!!! Thank you for sharing. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
He is a beauty!
I LOVE watching all your videos and the progression of the horses. They all seem to really enjoy it! Are there some horses who just aren't "jumpers"- they really don't like it/can't do it?
Wy's movement reminds me of my hunter jumper!
He did so great! Do you have video of an OTTB first time xc schooling?!
Lovely! Maybe we'll see the two of you competing at Rolex one day?? Hopefully, you'll keep Wy?
Love watching your videos ELISA (-: Marion
Was that at Majestic Oaks? I live 15 minutes away from there!
I’ve always been a Wy fan... now even more! He’s a great little event mustang! I can’t remember...did you choose him or was he a blind draw? Either way, he’s a great fit for your program!
I picked him.

I want to get a mustang rescue so bad and train it
Not a jumper but really enjoying your videos. However I was wondering why you open your hands wide as you said?is it to give him more room or give him less of a chance to stop/turn away?
Kinda both, it just makes him feel confident enough to stay in the middle of the jump
Thanks for explaining/confirming. I'm actually pretty proud of myself I kinda figured it out. Because as I said I have never done any jumping so sometimes I'm just like okay... but why though?

What happened to Eton? I thought she was going to keep him but if she sold him I don't remember seeing it.
Bailey He’s out for training at the moment, but will be coming back in June
@@TheHalloweenFreaks ohh okay thank you!
Interesting, for the right side being his weakest side he sure used that lead a lot. Still pushing his shoulder in but well done!
