Hello Dear, If you want to apply for PhD, for that you only need acceptance letter from Prof. of your concern depth. You don’t need any HSK or entrance test. So, you can apply for CSC scholarships using that acceptance letter, as you said u r a senior, then make sure your age with scholarship criteria. If you are applying for a postdoc you will just need the same acceptance and willingness of prof, no other criteria, depends on your prof willingness. In China the postdoc age limit is 40 for foreigners. I hope it will help you.

So, don’t confuse yourself with the English language, if you really want to come to China for study, there must be an English language issue somehow. But ZJU has really good faculty bcz of high reputation. And most of the faculties are graduated from the world best Universities. So, their English level is relatively good.

Muhmmad Amaan depends on your background education and also luck. ZJU is the world top ranked university, education level is of course good. No HSK needed, some courses are in Chinese and some English
if you are coming for PhD it is easy as compare to master degree programs. And you can come via the CSC scholarship progarmme /or the university own scholarship for PhD. And for master it is usually self paid, but you can apply for scholarship as well. If you wanna come for Engineering or medical studies that would be easy for Master, the rest is a bit harder to come the required HSK because the courses are thought in Chinese

I have a band 8 on my ielts and 1300 on my sat ( I am retaking it to get higher score ) as for my high school grades I have over 70 for my first semester but for my second one I actually got bad grades and I got 60 % . As for the criteria, they required 70% score in high school and IELTS 6.5 would be sufficient, Hopefully u will get the admission, it is not that much hard, but luck also matters, because there are not that much foreigner students, so they might consider more foreign application.

if you are coming for PhD it is easy as compare to master degree programs. And you can come via the CSC scholarship progarmme /or the university own scholarship for PhD. And for master it is usually self paid, but you can apply for scholarship as well. If you wanna come for Engineering or medical studies that would be easy for Master, the rest is a bit harder to come the required HSK because the courses are thought in Chinese

One recommendation letter is enough, but you need to provide IELTS/TOEFL for master program

Hi, it’s simple you should find your concern study professor, and ask for acceptance letter, apply to CSC scholarship, it is that simple. I would suggest google the information about CSC scholarship, if you can not make it some time the University shift your application to ZJU scholarship also depending on your professor.

I am currently applying to zhe jiang university . I have a band 8 on my ielts and 1300 on my sat ( I am retaking it to get higher score ) as for my high school grades I have over 70 for my first semester but for my second one I actually got bad grades and I got 60 % . Would u say there is a chance that I get accepted or it the competition really high ?
As for the criteria, they required 70% score in high school and IELTS 6.5 would be sufficient, Hopefully u will get the admission, it is not that much hard, but luck also matters, because there are not that much foreigner students, so they might consider more foreign application.
