I watched this show when I was 24 and I got so “lost” during season 6. Now I’m 44 and I’ve had some trippy mystical experiences since then and all a sudden it all made perfect sense- particularly Desmond.
One of my favorite experiences in life was when I took some potent psychedelics and watched Lost. I did that a few times, but once I was watching an edited Lost compilation where John Locke's story is told chronologically. It was really cool to see it from that perspective.
Lost was an entire event for 6 years...they were also some of my best 6 years in my life...that time was the most complete for me... The good ol days....We have to go back!!!
This is crazy! I started rewatch Lost on Netflix only few weeks ago because I was 14 years old when it first came out and I thought it was to scary so I did not finish it. Now 20 years later I am so into it I can not stop watching it. And here it is saying its 20 years this month.. wow
Haha I was also 14 years old when it started. I loved it so much - it’s weird when I hear people say they were confused tho because even as a kid I was able to follow it so well - more so than a few shows I watch as an adult 😂

Absolutely loved this show! Can't believe it's been 20 years! For me, the best ending would have been Jack (dressed in white) and Locke (dressed in black) sitting on the beach side-by-side watching a plane in distress on a collision course with the island....restarting the cycle.

Greatest show of all time for me. Nothing has affected me like LOST has. I'm a little torn on whether I would like the show to come back in some form whether its a reboot or spin off as I believe the ending was amazing, 14 year old me bawled my eyes out for a good hour after the ending.

i just finished the series last night (9-29-24) its fun watching this. I've known Lost since 2004-2005 because i used to play the Mobile/Java games on those old nokia phones,and this year is the first time i watched and finished the series. so, it's very fresh for me. I loved Lost
Rewatching the whole series again and just starting the 6th season again for the 6th or 7th time. They should do a legacy series about Hurley looking after the island.
Crazy to think how many people watched it like that over 6/7 years , waiting a week to watch each episode then months in between seasons , i binged watched in a few weeks and that felt like a journey , i cant imagine how people felt giving half a decade to the show , no wonder so many people got emotional

Personally, I think the series will remain timeless and watchable for another two decades, although it's up to the new generation to judge that. I touched on older and new productions, but I can't compare any of them to Lost - is it the sentiment of those years or am I just a huge fan of this series? Waiting for the next episode and the conversations at school about what and how could happen was so wonderful that it gave me additional emotions. Each of the mentioned actors had to be this character and not another. The plot and the way it was presented was very appropriate. For me, the ending was contrived and the entire series did not deserve such an ending… To sum up, to this day I consider the LOST series to be my favorite and often recommended to those who have not had any contact with it. Right after it, after many years, I put the series Breaking Bad and its entire universe with Better Call Saul and El Camino - this is for analysis of my taste. Personally, I would like the story of Lost to come alive again and create something for long-time fans of this story, but I know that it will not be as hot as LOST at that time. I was counting on some interesting teasers for the 20th anniversary, but apart from a few materials, nothing else was created, so it probably won't happen again. We had to reheat the whole thing every few years, but believe me... it's not a microwave dish... every time it's a wonderful journey and one hell of an exciting adventure. I rarely comment, but in this case I allowed myself to vent so much that I wrote a slightly longer statement, which shows the power of the series or the island is calling me... ⛰️🛖🗿

Maggie Grace is and always was just so beautiful. At first glance, Shannon's character was really annoying and hard to stand. But when you watch the show enough times you see how well Maggie played Shannon. She gave her depth beyond just being a spoiled, self-entitled brat.
