That looks great ... wondered how this one was comming ... gotta keep the bird ...
You have a REALLY great eye for style! And even better, the ability to make your vision a reality. Well done sir!!
Thank you so much 😀
Great job , love your style of build .
Looks great! Love how you use tape to perform styling.
Great work Nick, love what your doing to the old Chrysler.
I so do believe in the motto of Low Buck Garage, as the man said; If you are not having fun, then you are doing it wrong! I would of guessed a long bit ago that you would of finished the right side to get done quick but then thought.... to do the same thing to the same car over and over. You would not enjoy doing a vision of your own design and it would go to scrap. Great project Nick, and looking forwards to the bird on the hood of your vision.
So true!
Good evening Nick, I really like your wood forming stand. What kind of wood is it made of. It seems like a very tight grained wood. Take care and good luck.
It was an old elm tree I took down with my Dad. Here's the video ruclips.net/video/wSiXHRvTOGA/видео.html Elm usually isn't the preferred wood a guy uses but the price was right and amazingly after all this time it hasn't split. If it does, I have a few more stumps stored for that rainy day. Thanks for your support!
The bumper looks good, its hard to believe its a reincarnation of the stock one, it compliments the front end nicely and I think the bird will look at home on the bonnet. Great work again Nick. Cheers Greg
As you were beating on it, again it’s a good thing they made the bumpers and other items stout on those old Chryslers!
A very nice bumper that changes the look completely. The front end looks lighter and sleeker now.
That was a great video and superb demonstration of how something so ‘seemingly’ straight forward can be complicated and very time consuming, congratulations on end result 👍
Wonky, a good engineering term!
I can't believe that I just spent almost an hour watching a guy pound dents out of a 68 year old bumper with various hammers and LOVING EVERY MINUTE!
Thanks!!
Your selection of ball peen hammers is very impressive! As is the rest of your amazingly well equipped shop! My engineer Dad would have loved it!
Was the gas torch helium? It made your voices squeaky. Just joking 😉
LOL!! That's a good one.
Nice heavy duty metal work Nick. I wasn't initially a fan of the bumper but you've made me a convert. I've been working myself on the Fiat 128 sheet metal learning and applying your lessons to straightening a crunched front fender.
Hopefully the few tips I throw out there are helping. All the best my friend!
Amazing how you made that facia/trim filler piece to add to the top of the bumper! Really makes the front end look neat and clean!
Awesome work as always sir. I know it might not be possible, but could you put the camera closer when you are shaping stuff? It would be nice to see how it takes shape. Have a great day!
I will try. Thanks for watching!!
Doing stuff like this is so darn difficult making bends on bent up old stuff , then trying to make it symmetrical is an exercise in patience. Your eyecrometer has to be so on point. Love this channel.
Thanks for your support Jimmy!
