This really is the 'I like money' banner from IS, lol. The three house leaders again, plus the most popular girl from Engage. All with busted kits! Cha-ching! And it's working on me, to some degree. Especially Yunaka is just an instant spark, and I wouldn't mind Edelgard or the Byleths either. Not going past the spark for a full sweep if I'm unlucky though, because New Year's with the Book 7 OC's is also coming.
Welp. R.I.P. the latest banner, I'm definitely gonna save my orbs and definitely try to summon the heck out of this banner. I wish i could get them all. Hope I could be lucky for this year's Christmas Banner.
Normally, I'd be annoyed at Yunaka being seasonal locked, but I expect the next Engage banners to be Ivy with an Elusia banner, Timerra with a Solm banner, and Nil with a DLC banner before they go back to characters who were skipped over on previous banners. So overall I'm glad Yunaka is in the game as she is my 2nd favorite Engage character after Goldmary. Now, I really wish I didn't feel like I need to summon for Yunaka and Dimitri, on a banner I was hoping to skip, but I guess I'll wait a bit and see what I can do. I also think this banner is just boring that is only the faces I would have preferred a few "freaks" with some less popular characters. Regardless, best of luck on your summons if you decide to go in!
Well sadly im scraping orbs right now cause well Mythic Gullveig ate a lotta my orbs sooooo it was a miracle i got rearm lucina from the ticket lol with this thou yeah dont think i would get that lucky with whats left of my orbs.
Not really fond of this banner just because the powercreep is obscene. Like, im used to FEH powercreep, but this is just a whole other level to me. Also, they started doing the blurbs with Rat and Rearmed Luci's banner! I do believe this is the first time a duo has been both the avatars.
IS had the chance to make an all Engage Xmas Banner but no just more 3H + Yunaka, the least they could've done to make it more appealing was to use the time-skip designs of the lords. This banner is a pass for me, only going to be rolling for faves from this point on.
I'm very :/ @ this banner. Dont get me wrong, I LOVE all the characters on this banner and I really want all of them, the 3H lord trio are all excellent and I love all of them a ton, but this is the forth time the Three Houses lords have all been on a banner together. I understand their debut banner and brave houses, and the summer banner makes sense from a "we dont know how long we're gonna do Three Houses summer banners so might as well make a ton of money" perspective. But like... we're almost 5 years out from Three Houses, its time to stop treating them like a packaged deal. Its frustrating too cause there's so many great Engage and Three Houses characters who still arent in the game that could have made for a great demote choice (Alois or Saphir would make really fun Christmas units imo) but nah the big Three Houses seasonal banner of the year once again goes to the lords. But I dont wanna be too negative here. I'm really excited to have Yunaka in the game earlier than expected, like I said I do still do still love all of the main Three Houses lords, and the Byleth/Byleth duo unit is a fun choice that I was hoping they'd do at some point (and gives hope for a Shez/Shez duo which given their interactions so far in FEH would be a barrel of fun) so regardless I'm gonna be summoning here. I just hope this is the last we'll be seeing of the Three Houses lords sharing a banner together.
I think that reaction is quite understandable. People enjoy and like these characters, but it has become a little predictable and regular. On the flipside, I think you'd have certain House fans riot if one of the leaders was omitted as an alt on one of these banners, so it's a bit of a damned if you do, damned if you don't. i have...a lot of feelings on this banner and idk if any of them are positive. Yunaka is a character i personally never cared for in Engage but at least she's new, and she does look good. The rest...the lords and Byleth. I just felt instant burnout the second i saw Edelgard. Even Claude, whose my favorite of the three of them, i just felt exhausted seeing because we literally got him 3 months ago. art wise and fodder wise they all look good, and it's neat to see the Byleths together. i would love to see the same for the Corrins, Robins, Alears, Shezs and Kris's. I'm definitely skipping, but i wouldn't mind the fodder from any of them. good luck to everyone summoning!
The powercreep is out of control at this point. My experience playing every game mode this year was horrible and with these new units it will be worse. Man, I'm so happy I play Azur Lane because that game brings me all the fun that FEH took away from me this year. I still love FEH and I really hope they can find a better way to balance the game. Anyway, I will skip this banner and I'll save my orbs for the Legendary banner and the New Year banner. I think there is a chance we'll get L!Camilla this time and a dragon banner for new year :)
I think there's a chance as well! We'll see. I kinda hope not, just because the accompanying units don't really seem that great, especially of the CYL variety, but we'll see! I totally understand where you're coming from with the power levels of these characters. It feels like a completely unnecessary leap to me.
