Looking forward to your coast-to-coast range test with the 54kWh battery...hopefully in typical COLD and wet Irish weather.
I am driving the current model now for 9 months and the cold weather range is THE big issue for me, plummeting to about 100miles when the temps drop to near zero.
Also the build up of crud under the spoiler in poor fast conditions is really significant in the dark and most unusually for Citroen, causes me to question its aerodynamics!
No rear wash wipe and optional heat pump are just bean-counting crazy in our climate!

    Great review.
Nice. It’s a Stelantis product so similar to others. However….
It’s great to see a slightly different Citroën approach to the exterior design: very individual and very stylish.
    Not for Sheeple of course.
I’ve had Citroën’s - on and off as well as VW, FIAT, Alfa, Volvo, Renault, BMW, Dacia(!), Lancia, Triumph, Renault, Lotus - since the 1970’s. This is not a true Citroën of by any means - comfort aside - but the design touches are a refreshing and nice touch.
I have at the moment 2021 C3 Aircross, 1.2 petrol. Not a huge amount of km covered - 75,000.
In that time the only thing that’s gone ‘wrong’ is a front fog light bulb.
1 more year of the unlimited ‘mileage’ warranty left. I’m very happy with it. It’s been outstanding and far better than I expected it to be.
I’d buy another Stelantis Citroën at the drop of a hat.
I do miss my 1970’s Ami and 90’s Xantia though. Both of which were far more reliable than the VW’s and Volvo’s I had. Certainly more cosseting too.

I'm currently an owner of 20202 EC4. I quite like the car what gets me is lack of foot space in the driver due to the battery lump which is still visible on this vehicle that you currently showing us, I was hoping that would've got rid of that. Thank you for showing us the new facelift.

Too many odd things with stellantis cars.
Too many similar brands chasing the same customers.
Priced just too expensive. Then endless discounts so undermining that image.
Tech only just good enough at this point. Batteries need to be minimum 60kwh now.
I don't understand why one of the many brands can't be all electric at this point. Ground up platform, modern tech, decent battery.
Hopefully now that the previous CEO has gone they will change direction.

Have to agree, they are overpriced identikit models with different shells. Ruined many brands with fantasy pricing leading to huge depreciation. Recoverable, but they really need to price properly in future and produce better cars!

Imo needs more range for same price. These are great secondhand value.

Seems like a nice car. Pity it can't tow, though the addition of the V2L is a good idea.

Current e-C4 comes with a heat pump so it’s surprising to hear that the facelift will not!

Not as standard I believe but as an optional extra I'm told by Citroen Ireland

Ridiculously small battery sizes. Stopped watching the video after hearing the 2 sizes.

Yes, the French don't seem to like larger batteries. In theory, the "improved aerodynamics" should extend range, but I doubt it will be enough.

Absolutely! This car needs a decent battery...like the 73kWh one available on the Pug. 3008.
I note that Carlos Tavares has been exited by the Stelantis Board!

Is it just a change of face for no other reason? Because I really did miss the old one with the > < chevron fascia around the lights , looks great on the C5X which should come as an ëC5X EV not PHEV only. Likewise the ëC4 should offer a PHEV option yesterday. The integration of models and options through all new cars by Stellantis has been very staggered and choppy in all fairness.

There's a sinking feeling in me that Stellantis/Citroën would try to make a C4 Picasso/Aircross SUV 7 seater out of the current model, mixed feelings :/

The EC3 should sell by the shipload. That might help Citroen stay in the game. The French brands will sell in France, the Italian brands will sell in Italy, Opel will sell in Germany. But where there’s no national flag element, as in Ireland or, say, Portugal, all these brands will fight each other for market share and brand awareness.

Citroen are a bit Marmite and I am afraid I just hate their approach to a mushy suspension. Otherwise the car would be quite good… Other Stellantis brands, say Alfa Romeo, get the suspension right so if you want Stellantis there is always the choice. I like a reasonably small battery both as an investment and as something which makes the car lighter. This fits a niche and a price point, but not for me.
