- Hello all, This video attempts to explain the basics required to start the PIPE STRESS ANALYSIS in Oil & Gas, Process plant piping. Here emphasis is given more on the basics and to explain 'WHY' behind each concept. Useful to Piping & Pipeline engineers, mechanical engineers.
This is how academics should be taught in schools and colleges..then Reskilling and upskilling is not required...awesome! Those are lucky people who get guidance from you.
thanks
Wow, 1 hour nonstop - and every single word is meaningful!

Values added Sir
You are superb
Thank you
During steam out there is a chance of cindensate formation which can result in vaccum conditions and hence for larger size pipe since D/t ratio is high the pipe can buckle. Hence stiffener may be needed
for steam out condition why we have to provide stiffer if the line size is large..
You are amazing sir, I wish I had the opportunity to learn from you.

Thank you sir
thanks for this explanations. I would if its possible to have some note course on Materials Applied To Supporting Industrial Piping
,
Please upload more videos
Dear sir, could you please upload the video of bellowed support you mentioned at 1:00:00.
Is Humidity factored-in during Temperature based Stress Analysis? How does the Humidity affect the Piping systems?
pipe stress depends on pressure, difference in temperature and any other occasional force like wind / earthquake. humidity directly does not affect stress directly but it can affect temperature.
Stress is an impulsive/dynamic force + created speed of occasion (based on condition) when the volume of any material remain CONSTANT but the shape/the initial form/ is changing during the time.
Can you speak about pressure vessel calculations, please?
Sir, I would like to know if there any subtitle in your online course video?
Sorry, at this stage we dont have. But good suggestion, we will attempt in next few months
