@@Bubba__Sawyer yea it was left unfinished. In fact a lot of the game was because THQ was frustrated with Anchor taking so long. We didn't get the blood system they worked on; they cut off the ramp during matches; a ton of season mode cutscenes left out; unfinished/glitchy AI; online mode removed; etc.

The Season Mode in this game was amazing. There were so many options to keep it fun for months on end. If the gameplay had been a little less sluggish, It would've been up there with the best of the best. Wrestlemania 21 was such a downgrade in every aspect other than graphics.
This was the first game my brother bought after we got the Xbox. Never had a PS2 so I never got a chance to enjoy the great Smackdown games of that era. With that said, despite its flawed gameplay, there was so much content to enjoy within the game and even until now, I have never found myself as fully immersed in a WWE Season Mode as I was with Raw 2. You brought back so many memories with this video. Thank you.
I absolutely loved Raw 2 back in the day, & I still own it with my original Xbox. I used all all 60-ish CAW slots & pretty much created my own personal wrestling promotion. I even went as far as using the Picture-in-Picture feature on my TV at the time to let me watch Raw every Monday while also doing CPU-only matches with my CAWs, in essence producing my own wrestling program while also watching Raw at the same time! The only thing really missing from this video, though, is a mention regarding just how insane the AI could be in Raw 2. Make a pinfall or submission attempt in a multi-man match, and literally all of them will stop what they're doing to break it up, unless they're already in the middle of performing a move. Even when it's an elimination match the AI will just go insane with breaking up pins & submissions. It was simultaneously hilarious & annoying, admittedly.
I remember having this on my dad's Xbox during my college years, I remember making a wrestling werewolf character that I often created in most wrestling games and with the custom entrance theme feature, I used Anxiety by Black Eyed Peas and Papa Roach for my guy's theme which honestly was a better use of the song than it was in Wrestlemania 21. Also nice job on getting a modded xbox, it's definitely worth it, I was able to play Kakuto Chojin on mine
My best friend and I loved always setting traps (we would set traps for Hogan everytime), and then we miss the target and Hogan would just look around confused, and then invading the locker room and.... No one's there. Try to steal their gear, and walk away empty handed. Absolutely hilarious every time.
I’m an original Xbox collector and I agree with everything you have said regarding the differences between the 2 Raw games. The action is still really sluggish but it is just a matter of adapting. The graphics for the time are just incredible though. Great video as always mate 🙂
My favourite as a kid were the WWF Superstars and Wrestlefest arcade games from the late 80s and early 90s, respectively. Many a 10p was spent on them in the likes of Barry's and Sportsland on my summer holidays lol.

This game was by far my favorite for the Xbox. As a kid this was the game that I kind of grew up with And I spent a good salad 3 years playing this game
I loved that you could edit wrestler's attires and stuff. I swear I spent more time playing dress-up and tweaking entrances than actually playing the game. lol
Loved the season mode of this! It always made you feel like something was happening! I feel like what's missing now that Raw 2 had was a certain attention to details. it's just those little things like being able to slide out of the ropes during a royal rumble and getting weapons in. It just gave you those options that added more of the WWE feel to a regular wrestling game. Sure it was janky but it had its charm because of it.
I was going back and I realized they used they used the same character pictures on this game as Wrestlemania XIX . I thought I was pretty cool considering both came out around the same time .
Great video as always. I missed out on the original Xbox and 360 back in the day simply because I went for Playstations instead. The good thing with create a character modes is they can always make a Okay-ish wrestling game great fun. I brought Smack Down: Just Bring It with my PS2 and although not the best wrestling game my mates and I made it amazing. We spent our time making our own original roaster then would make our own PPVs and have matches again each other. Good times.
The best thing about RAW 2 was the storyline mode. It had excellent storylines and the features where you could attack an opponent on the way to the ring was really cool as well
Another awesome upload from the greatest wrestling channel on the planet! I never got round to playing the original XBox, or Raw 2. Being more of an N64 gamer, then later PS2. I find these reviews interesting and perhaps I’ll get round to playing Raw 2 someday. Thanks for the upload.
This is the game that I spent the most time on more than every other wrestling game. Here is my story… I don’t remember how I got this game but apparently I got it from Hollywood Video because I have the Hollywood video case that has a smaller version of the game cover and controls on the back. I believe I was 8-9 at the time but I remember looking up cheat codes and hints for this game. Apparently, you were able to unlock Mick Foley if you played 5 years of season mode and Mr. McMahon if you played for 10. Now anyone who has played the career mode knows that a year is pretty long. (Having to play a match on RAW, a match on smack down, then a ppv match if it’s on the 4th week. So in total it would be 116 matches MAX (right? Idk math) so just to get Mick Foley, you would need to do 580 matches. My friend and I were both playing career mode trying to get this and it took us YEARS (a lot of on and off because the career gets very mundane) so eventually, we got to the 5th and finished it. And! No mick Foley and we realized that we were duped :( so now it’s just a funny memory of how long we spent time on this game but either way, we enjoyed it and had a blast
none of the Xbox wrestling games are good, but Wrestlemania 21 is definitely the best. that one feels like they actually tried. i have a super small memory of me and my brother playing that game, (probably 2005 or 2006). i used cena and he used mankind (i think, i was super young so i really can’t remember that well). that’s one of those games that i’ll buy again just because it’s a piece of my gaming history.
I always love when you cover wrestling video games on the channel, I missed on this one but I mainly played the n64 wrestling games and day of reckoning 2 when I was a kid. Would you review 2k22? They really stepped it up and its a great wrestling game!
This is still my favorite wrestling game just cuz the countless hours I spent playing it as a kid. At one point I held all the titles in season mode & my theme song was I Want it All by Queen.
I played this for years. I remember the season mode going into 12 seasons and 5 of which I was undisputed champion and loved watching my guy show up with both titles. I had an 81 man royal rumble too. As for the Refs I picked a submission as my finisher because then there was no slow count.
Sorry, but I don't see the similarity at all. The Wrestlemania/Day of Reckoning games played much more like the Smackdown games. They even used many of the same move animations.
Lately I've seen alot of WWE RAW 2 vids being made on RUclips and I find that very cool considering there was a time not too long ago where it was remotely impossible to even find a thumbnail involving RAW 2 on RUclips... I'm glad this game is getting the roses it deserved for so long it really was a gem of a game with groundbreaking features that would help shape future WWE games into existence... RAW 2 is no HCTP nor is it even WrestleMania XIX but I must say it did it's job of capturing the theme of a 2003 WWE product...Also imo only I feel RAW 2 gets the short end of the stick for the wrong reasons...It might not have the depth of HCTP features or the easy pick up and play charm of WM XIX but RAW 2 did a waaaay better job at customization and visuals than both HCTP and WM XIX which are the same 2 vital features that keeps WWE 2K games to this day afloat...If RAW 2 had better animation, mechanics and match types this would be a completely different topic...
note: The Referee's have different speeds. Mike Chioda is the fastest counting referee lol. Tim White is the slowest. Also there's 2 different sized ladders you can use in WWE RAW 2.

1:40 seriously though despite its flaws, it's one of the best models of HBK I've come across! The attire and hairstyle is wonderful. Some of these models are wonderfully accurate whilst others are damn right nasty to look at it waaay off strangely lol
This game was by far my favorite for the Xbox. As a kid this was the game that I kind of grew up with And I spent a good salad 3 years playing this game
Salad

I have to say the XBOX you have is AMAZING I remember having Raw an Raw 2 agree the sequel was awesome. Great Vid as always
Loved the video!
I loved that you could edit wrestler's attires and stuff. I swear I spent more time playing dress-up and tweaking entrances than actually playing the game. lol
The glow up from Raw 1 to Raw 2 was real
Loved the season mode of this! It always made you feel like something was happening! I feel like what's missing now that Raw 2 had was a certain attention to details. it's just those little things like being able to slide out of the ropes during a royal rumble and getting weapons in. It just gave you those options that added more of the WWE feel to a regular wrestling game. Sure it was janky but it had its charm because of it.
Made my dad get me this game when i was a kid
I was going back and I realized they used they used the same character pictures on this game as Wrestlemania XIX . I thought I was pretty cool considering both came out around the same time .
Great video as always. I missed out on the original Xbox and 360 back in the day simply because I went for Playstations instead. The good thing with create a character modes is they can always make a Okay-ish wrestling game great fun. I brought Smack Down: Just Bring It with my PS2 and although not the best wrestling game my mates and I made it amazing. We spent our time making our own original roaster then would make our own PPVs and have matches again each other. Good times.
Can't wait for your wrestlemania 21 review. I played that game religiously back in the day. Its was awesome!
really enjoying the game series in particular. would love to see more
Thanks for unlocking some memories of friends and myself going for years playing this one
A great classic in my home there was an arcade and I always played that game
What a treat! I was looking for a review and saw Bios Guy did one! I didn't know Bios Guy did game reviews. Niiice
This game was decent in My opinion. The mistake was launching at the same time when Here comes the pain launched. People completely ignored Raw 2
Grew up on this game, I would sit on the main menu and just listen to the music
Bios Bro gaming channel when???
This is the game that I spent the most time on more than every other wrestling game. Here is my story…
I don’t remember how I got this game but apparently I got it from Hollywood Video because I have the Hollywood video case that has a smaller version of the game cover and controls on the back.
Thanks so much for the story.
Yes! Got this for XMAS back in 2002. The physics predate Day of Reckoning but still a blast despite the goofiness of the game.
You couldn't have gotten this in 2002.
Are you a time traveler or something? To be able to get a game that was released in 2003 on Christmas Day 2002?
The only wwe game where you can exit the ring in a royal rumble. SUPER UNDER RATED
wow that is the game i always love to get this game how did you get the mod xbox game?
none of the Xbox wrestling games are good, but Wrestlemania 21 is definitely the best. that one feels like they actually tried. i have a super small memory of me and my brother playing that game, (probably 2005 or 2006). i used cena and he used mankind (i think, i was super young so i really can’t remember that well). that’s one of those games that i’ll buy again just because it’s a piece of my gaming history.
I always love when you cover wrestling video games on the channel, I missed on this one but I mainly played the n64 wrestling games and day of reckoning 2 when I was a kid. Would you review 2k22? They really stepped it up and its a great wrestling game!
Loving these classic game videos
I'm hoping one day you'll have just covered them all 👀
I spent hours on that game, it was great... Stayed one of my favourite... It got the Jam !!
Keep going with the gaming vids you've got the Jam to start a great gaming channel.
Absolutely loved the season mode in this game.
This is still my favorite wrestling game just cuz the countless hours I spent playing it as a kid. At one point I held all the titles in season mode & my theme song was I Want it All by Queen.
Really enjoying these video game vids, wouldn't mind seeing more gaming related vids, or a secondary gaming channel.
My friend use to own this game and we had loads of fun playing it back in the day.
I played this for years. I remember the season mode going into 12 seasons and 5 of which I was undisputed champion and loved watching my guy show up with both titles. I had an 81 man royal rumble too. As for the Refs I picked a submission as my finisher because then there was no slow count.
This honestly looks a lot like Day of Reckoning with the gameplay. Think some talent bled over to Yuke's?
Sorry, but I don't see the similarity at all. The Wrestlemania/Day of Reckoning games played much more like the Smackdown games. They even used many of the same move animations.
If your using a CAS in season mode, make sure to give them a 2nd attire or else you'll get a guy in red trunks doing all your backstage work!
I canny wait for this one :)
I loved this game
