  • Forgot to mention that while the display is the older version, it's functionality is the same as the newer one.
Wiring outside and inside the panel will be cleaned up in the next video :) Also could do with new plastic on the front.
Welcome to NZ Fire And Security
This is the channel where I install, program and test security and fire alarm systems.
I mainly work with systems common in New Zealand however I will sometimes have a system common to other countries
Yes, my laptops screen is broken

HUGE thank you to the very generous subscriber who offered all this stuff to me for a great price.
There's more stuff coming soon, going to try get the FP1600 up and running, not in the shed however the F100a will stay there.

Great to see the panel has a new home! I'm sure you'll get lots of use out of it. cool video as always. The unbranded amplifier was manufactured by AMPAC. you normally find them paired with the NZ400 1997 version.

Ah I thought it might be ampac, and you may recognise this panel 😂

I bought this off a subscriber who let me buy his collection for a very good price, unfortunately used fire alarm stuff is quite hard to come by unless you work for a fire alarm installation company.

Can you use a T-Gen 50 tone generator in an Ampac Firefinder panel?

Yes probably as long as it’s 24v, haven’t had any experience with those panels.
