    I've lost birds to raccoons/opossums behind a premier one electric net fence. If the bottom is not drum tight the whole way round, they can get under. But, as you say, that's what livestock guardian dogs are for. Haven't had any problems since we got one.

      They are essentially the same thing, anatolians just aren't restricted on coat color. If they come from good working lines, and are properly trained, either breed will function essentially the same way.
