I've been living under a rock for 16 years and was raised with just music from our country, nothing from "outside" because we didn't afford to get a smartphone or PC. The TV also didn't broadcast "English speaking music"(even on the channels that are exclusively for music). My parents are traditionalists and of course that they don't know English so they limited themselves to just that kind of music and nothing else. Years ago, Chester saved my life with his music, his lyrics, his pain, his love and with LINKIN PARK. I’ve became a fan of Linkin Park in 2001 and never looked back and I’m so glad because of that. One year ago I discovered ATEEZ and they gave me another reason to keep walking, to keep living. I wish I could show this to Chester, I’m in tears knowing that people so talented like Kim HongJoong thought about this cover with such amazing music. As a soldier (Lp's fandom) for more than 7 years, I can say this is amazing, obviously is not the nu metal style I'm used to and isn't similar to the original version but his style is great, didn't like the chorus a lot, except the last one which was amazing, but the rap was on point! I've been checking these guys out for a while and they're so talented, knew them since Pirate King but I didn't really stan them, I'm having my doubts now. I haven't been able to listen to Linkin Park since Chester died and have recently got into a few kpop bands (a bit of a diversion in music tastes i know). Ateez are amazing in every way and this is so meaningful to me.

Been listening to Linkin Park for about 15 years, and I really liked this cover. It's not the typical one when a singer tries to fit in the exact same song, he made it his own by giving it his style. Also, the MV looks gorgeous; the styling, the lighting, every detail created a whole atmosphere that fitted perfectly with the song. Good job, Hongjoong!

Years ago, Chester saved my life with his music, his lyrics, his pain, his love and with LINKIN PARK. I’ve became a fan of Linkin Park in 2001 and never looked back and I’m so glad because of that. One year ago I discovered ATEEZ and they gave me another reason to keep walking, to keep living. I wish I could show this to Chester, I’m in tears knowing that people so talented like Kim HongJoong thought about this cover with such amazing music. Thanks to people like Kim HongJoong new generations will know the power of music, the power of healing souls.

As a soldier (Lp's fandom) for more than 7 years, I can say this is amazing, obviously is not the nu metal style I'm used to and isn't similar to the original version but his style is great, didn't like the chorus a lot, except the last one which was amazing, but the rap was on point! I've been checking these guys out for a while and they're so talented, knew them since Pirate King but I didn't really stan them, I'm having my doubts now. Anyways, Hongjoon did an amazing job and I'm really grateful when kpop artists cover rock or metal songs since it's riskier than covering just a pop song, you guys have such a talented leader

Even if he was a child when this song came out, and he changed the style to suit his own better, I think he covered it exceptionally, with a lot of respect and I wish many people, who love either Linkin Park, ATEEZ or both of them, can appreciate this 💚
