    I've been meaning to attach something like that to an old ender 3 and make it an automated microscope. That could probably produce some nice timelapse videos. Ideally the microscope would be mounted at a tilt, maybe even adjustable with a servo.

      This sounds indeed like an interesting project!

      @@hoitg4647 Yeah, I hope I can start working on it in a few months... I'll probably use a Rasperry PI HQ camera, shooting individual high resolution photos. Then I'll define the path over blender (so I have a preview) and write a blender plugin that controls the printer via serial to do the work. Hopefully with security checks to avoid crashing the lens into the build plate or object and so on.

      Blender for microscope control? Sounds a bit like overkill to me, but an interesting approach.

      @@hoitg4647 It would be good for designing the camera path, and would also serve as a preview both of the final sequence and how the printer will move. More of an artistic project...

    How do i select 4K video when i do that and press record it does not record anything only qhd works and lower. Same for you?

      If I select 4k resolution (2880x2160 @ 24fps) via menu (remote control) it stores that resolution on the micro SD-card. But I'd say the physical resolution is no more than 1920x1080.
      When recording via USB and VNC as shown in the video, 1920x1080 is the maximum you can get.
      Maybe the write speed of your SD card is too low? I use the one that shipped with the microscope. You could try a different one.

    Can you tell me if this model turns off the main monitor screen when connecting HDMI?
    I thank you very much for your information, it is helping people around the world. Thanks.!

      As you can see at 7:35 the microscope monitor and the projector, connected via HDMI are both on.

    The recorded video on the sd card has no audio

    • @hoitg4647
      @hoitg4647  Год назад +1

      There is no microphone built in. It is a microscope, nothing more.

      @hoitg4647 When I play the recorded video on a computer, it shows an audio channel. Which is strange 🤔.

    • @hoitg4647
      @hoitg4647  Год назад

      Maybe the encoder adds an empty audio channel for compatibility reasons. I can't see a microphone on the mainboard of the microscope.

      @hoitg4647 Thank you so much for taking the time to look at the mainboard to confirm it. Like you said, it's probably a dummy channel.

      Looking at the mainboard wasn't a big thing, since the photos are published on my pages:
