This is one of my favorites in mono...
On days like these when you're so exhausted and tired.. not because of lack of sleep or a lot of work, but of the same thing every day... the things that dont go your way, and the things you wish to say but hold back because the truths are harder to speak than lies... and somehow you lose who you are and wonder where you're going in this endless path of constant emptiness...

hi kathy, i think you should try to finish the semester/year in your dance program before deciding to let it go or not. if you do end up leaving it, then you can be proud of yourself for finishing a part of it even if in the end you leave it. you will have gained more knowledge and experience about dance, and you'll be able to incorporate that in whatever path you choose to follow next, so please don't think that it's something that you will regret!
for your repetitive routine, i am going through the same thing but for work; i've been doing mandatory overtime for a bit more than a month now, on top of having to come work one day during the weekend so i only have saturdays off and this will last for another 3 weeks and i am so over it, so tired...i know it's really hard right now but when we will look back at this in the future, we can be proud of ourselves for our perserverance and hard work. may i suggest that you try to incorporate a little something new every day (or week, if daily is difficult!) in your routine to keep things fresh, like doing your homework in a different space like a new coffee shop nearby for example. i wish you good luck for school, please try to get enough rest!

When I first listened to this song, I thought maybe it was about Namjoon missing somebody. But now I think it's about himself. He's looking at himself in the past. He's reflecting on his self-change and the changes in his life. Perhaps he's missing the sweet parts of his life that he can't get back.

It's "Feel like a tourist, so i know it's time to go." And the Ponocchio in the poncho is at Tokyo's Disney resort. He's going to the different tourist spots in Tokyo.

I love 'Tokyo' so much, it has this nostalgic feeling to it, it's a sad but a beautiful feeling, I feel like I am missing home and I just remember the good times that passed and are passing. And your cover conveys this emotions so well, really beautiful!
Still my favourite track of all RM’s songs. It straight touches my heart and makes me homesick. It reminds me of those autumn afternoon when I cuddled up in bed and listened to the rain. Both parents were napping and I could hear their snoring. Nothing was pushing me, and I knew what was tomorrow. The time cannot go back and I hate this fact so much.

it’s not really I Need U backwards, it’s just the same chords. it sounds backwards because in i need u the chords are played in the opposite order of tokyo. i don’t really know how to explain it but yea

Tokyo is my favorite track in MONO. The melody is so smooth and chill but somewhere within this calmness hides sadness, doubt, regret, and hesitation of some sort. I feel like this song is a replication of myself.

Everything went good! It wasn't that painful! The will be a lot of other examinations and treatments in future, but now my anxiety is on a very low level and I feel like everything will turn out fine (or at least not that bad)

This song always puts me in my feelings and I start to think about the good times with a sad view...this makes me happy but really sad at the same time. I miss the good times, I want to start new things that I would enjoy but cost is an issue, I can still pursue it by myself though. This song gives me hope, I’m okay.

It's all nonsense. The two songs are based on the same chord progression, which is very common, both in BTS and pop music in general. Other BTS songs have the same progression, bVI-bVII-i, for example FAKE LOVE, EUPHORIA and SEESAW. Thousands of pop songs exist using the same progression. The Beatles, Bob Dylan, practically everyone has used it.
As soon as you have two songs using the same progression it is very easy to find imaginary similarities, that are just there because of the way music works. Anyway, the person who originated this rumor has since backtracked and apologized. That doesn't seem to stop the fake info from spreading like wildfire, tho.

One thing about namjoon that I love the most is his kindness... I love how it affects his music, that even the music he creates can heal someone. This is always been the best song to calm my episodes of 'u know what'... its like a nightmare that must not be named, but with this song.. it always makes me feel terrific, at peace, calm... and brave. i come back to this cover almost everyday because in a way it’s a lot sadder then the actual song. but it makes me feel like i can really understand what namjoon was trying to say through this song. it feels as though he lost himself and doesn’t know what to do or how to feel. it isn’t a surprise that many of us feel this way as well. i often wonder why i’m here. what i’m i gonna do with my life. i’m a senior in high school now my last year to figure out wtf i’m gonna be. but i don’t want to decide yet. i’m so young i want to live my life. it’s funny tho, cuz i say i wanna live my life but at the same time i wanna end it. to be honest i have no idea how i’m supposed to feel anymore. i don’t know to show love at this point. i just want it to stop.
this song helps me a lot because i think that if namjoon too is lost then i’m not alone. i have someone i love with my whole soul with me along the path to end the numbness. i have a friend. but i know deep down that if namjoon was or is feeling this way i wouldn’t want that for him because he of all people deserve pure happiness in this world.
