- After his wife of 7 months, Jess, was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 25, Andrew Cunningham wrote The Cancer Song in her honor. Through this song, Andrew wishes to encourage hope in those facing a similar diagnosis: “I wrote this song about our journey to tell our story and encourage those fighting cancer.” Jess completed treatment for breast cancer in November 2021. Thank you, Jess and Andrew, for sharing your story through song.

Last August I was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. Been through the IV drip chemo, doing the oral chemo pill treatment then radiation treatments. When I was first diagnosed my cancer cell count was 2008. A few months ago it was 39. I'm going to beat this and take my life back

@@ItIsWhatItIs-og5ff I am back in the hospital. Hadn't been feeling well for a while. They did a CAT scan which showed my pancreas is enlarged and infected. Not much when I will be discharged but not anytime soon

This is an incredible song. I recently lost someone to cancer and this song hit so close to home. I listened, I cried, and I smile knowing she is with Jesus and I look forward to a reunion one day. In the meantime I will think of this song often.

This is Valerie , I was Dianosed with Small Cell Lung Cancer Stage 4 , Have had chemo , Radiation , also something directly put in my Liver , Its been a Very Hard Battle for me and my Family , Still Trying to keep up strength to keep going , Love this Song

Just had a Bilateral Mastectomy last Thursday. I was diagnosed with IDC last july. Meeting with Oncologist next Thursday regarding when to start 2nd phase of this battle. Prayers for your wife! Thank you for this song you wrote & sing for us...beautiful voice!

my grandmother was diagnosed with breast cancer when I was 14. I felt so broken I felt so helpless. I felt so sorry I couldn’t do anything but be there for her❤️ I was already going through stuff myself but once she was diagnosed everything went downhill for my mental health and well being. was diagnosed with depression and I wanted to end my life but I found my way to god and I know he will not let my grandmother leave me to soon. she will always be my mama.❤

Love this song, I was diagnosed with breast cancer last June and had single mastectomy in July and in August found out it spread to my spine which did progress in 6 months I currently have 3 tumors on my spine and taking anti hormone treatment atm fingers crossed for the next scans, but wish doctors would give more info instead of keeping me in the dark as they do

My wife, now 37 was diagnosed with right breast cancer on 15 December 2021. A mastectomy was done on 21 December 2021 and was discharged from hospital on 23 December 2021. She completed 12 cycles of chemotherapy in 2022 and it is now over a year that we are waiting for a call from the hospital for radiation treatment. Last year 13 December 2023 upon her follow up at the Radiation Oncology Department we heard that the cancer has spread and it is now on stage iv.
