I miss my dad real much. We used to sit by a fire and talk for hours. I'd give anything to have my dad back. I'd give anything for just one more talk by a fire.
A campfire is one of my most cherished events in life! The sounds, the smell of the wood smoke, the light, and the obvious warmth are all very good stress relievers!

So me and my buddies all went into my friend's basement during a polar vortex in Michigan and we played this while we were talking about our senior year in high school saying how we should always be friends when we graduate (which we are to this day) but we had this playing for 4 HOURS it was just us and our thoughts while this peacefully played in the background. It's a wonderful memory and an experience I wish to everyone.
My eyes are literally watering. I do not know how to express it at the moment. I'm not getting enough sleep because of depression and anxiety, listening to it is such a great relief. Sad how we're missing on such simple and beautiful things available in nature.

Some of my best memories in life are reading by campfires so I like to put this on everytime I read. Also It's a great way to keep track of how long I've been reading
I feel like I'm laying on an air mattress in a tent next to my friend who has passed out hours ago and tossing and turning pondering what I will do tomorrow. I finally catch some sleep and wake up in the morning to a cold breeze and sunlight on my face. I stretch out, lay there for a bit and finally get up and unzip the tent. I look up to see my friend in a crappy camping chair sitting by the smoking fire drinking hot chocolate. I go over to the table and make myself some hot chocolate. We drink it and talk and the day is great.
this is really amazing, and I just 100% love it, because it reminds me of the peaceful but usually pensive and stoic brooding moments from these books i'm writing as a hobby, where Team Phoenix makes camp for the night, and the main character is just staying awake on his own, stewing over things or trying to understand what his purpose is or whatever like that.

Isnt it strange how we as humans find some things to be universally calming or beautiful? I dont think there are many things all people on this earth have in common, however, looking at the sunset or listening to nature's sound is generally a thing we all enjoy.
